Okay so a friend of mine wanted to build a computer by him self. (He has zero experience he's only seen me build them that's it...)
So I order most of the parts and he orders the power supply and hard drive..
I had everything shipped to his house it was all their in June the 15th...
He calls me June the 25th...

Sooo kyle, I have tried to put this dam blasted crap together a thousand times now and I just can't fiqure it out like where does the CD even go in at? And blah blah blah... I couldn't stop laughing half way threw.

So I get their at his house and I'm looking at this disaster on the floor... (HORRIFIED)
The Hard drive was for an IDE cable... (WHERE DID HE EVEN FIND AN IDE HARD DRIVE???)
the sata cables where crammed into the hard drive like he had bought more because he said their was still pins left over... (face palmed)
The GPU was in the bottom slot at least it was in a GPU slot...
    The fans where duck-tapped on...
The CPU cooler had no paste on it (he used it when inserting the GPU....) Was told by one of his friends I guess that it would help slide it in.....
The power supply was not even in the case he tapped it to the top... I don't even know how the cables managed to reach...
I mean I could go on... but I'm just gonna let you figure the rest out...

    Build it beautiful?

But seriously, looks good!  Seems to be something wrong with the Projects page, and I might reword the main Home page blurb, but other than the parts that are obviously still under construction it looks great!

I think your right, the hard drive doesn't read any files. It is not even recognized in the BIOS. Along with that, it makes the clicking sound of death continuously. I decided to order an ssd as a replacement.

That error message is indicating it can't track all the connections (states) on its iptable. Increase it to something higher than 65535 (usually the defaults of some router configs). It should have a config page where you can change it or change it directly while sshing it.

Try removing the gpu and insert the vga cable into the motherboard and into the monitor. Make sure the vga option for the monitor is selected

Maybe you can but it's not like it would be a 50/50 shot... it's pretty obvious how they are supposed to go.
And I don't know that it wouldn't damage the motherboard, but I know for a fact it wouldn't damage the fan (thought that was what you were saying, I guess I misread that).  You can take any DC fan and hook it up one way or the other, and it will simply spin the other direction.
And as for if it will damage the motherboard or not, like I said, I don't know if it would or not, but I can't imagine why or how it could... but at any rate, having a fan plugged in backwards is not going to "reverse the current"; worst possible case, current gets misdirected to somewhere it wasn't supposed to go.

Unless you plugged the fan header on the motherboard backwards thus causing a reverse in the electrical current only then could I see this happen...

but even then only the fan would die?

Everyone will need to set their own IP address. Either that or just leave DHCP enabled on all devices and they should default to the 168.254.0.0/16 network.

I am just writing this for discussion purposes:

    http://www.flexhub.org/forum/index.php?topic=788.0
"Asus currently sells wireless routers that include AiProtection powered by Trend Micro. [...]
sending the full url of visited webpages to Trend Micro [...]
This means that Trend Micro can collect, monitor and store your complete browsing history and technically can even take over (unsecure) web sessions by using the token you use yourself. This is a huge privacy and security issue."

So, imho, for me this is a case of "guilty, unless proven innocent".
Since part of the ASUSwrt and TrendMicro code is not open, it's difficult to check (for most of us anyway).

Merlin does a great job with tweaking the stock ASUSwrt.
Still, there is still stuff in there from ASUS & Co. that nobody should not even consider enabling.
That whole "AiProtection" section should in fact be disabled so nobody (especially unknowingly) gets lured into false security land.

Maybe one day pfsense will support ARM

How are you connecting from the client to the server?

Are you typing an IP address or hostname to connect to the share?
if you're using the hostname, have you setup multiple dns entries for the server?

Didn't see that sentence mentioned anywhere?

"If you don't have a trio of stereo-enabled screens, large performance bumps above and beyond already-high frame rates are really only good for bragging rights."
    however.

In certain games (as Skyrim or F1 2012) you experience like 3-4 FPS gains from 1600 do 2400? All other games unaffected.

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim shows us frame times under 50 ms until we reach 5760x1080, where all memory configurations become equally problematic."
I still highly doubt that memory is the bottleneck/stutter issue.

*from what I understand from the arguments (sorry for misunderstandings if they occur):
A normal HDD running 150MB/s wouldn't have any problem because ram is fast enough for that, but an SSD that is bottlenecked, going 3 times as fast as a hard drive makes the frames go everywhere?
