Hi, i have 2 monitors, and i wondered if it was possible to have a slide show of backgrounds only show on 1 of my monitors , and my second just to be a solid colour as it's lower quality and ruins the pictures, os is win 8.1.

Is there a program for windows 8.1 that changes the theme to the windows 7 aero effect? i have classic shell but that only has a start menu windows 7 look, not any of the other bars

A friend has the same keyboard and doesn't enjoy using red switches for typing. He's a pretty heavy user so he bottoms out pretty hard and he says it can even make his fingers hurt.

So I just got my Corsair M40. And I love it. But, now I will be needing a new keyboard, since I have to use a cheaper Logitech wireless keyboard for now to game with. So, to the people that have a Corsair K70 with Cherry Reds and red back-lighting, how nice is it?

i have a k70 with blue switches and red back light, had it for about 6 months now no dead lights. really easy to clean out dust since the keys are popped out more, it has a nice clean look since  it's brushed aluminunmnmnmnm  and it's strong :^)

I have to wired version of this headset. It is comfortable and the mic works pretty good. The only problem I have is that they get a bit hot after around 2ish hours if wear. 

hmm i was planning on buying those, on a scale of 1-10 for you, how hot would you say they get?

I am looking for a new monitor around $170 canadian. I am really clueless about what to look for, I would like a 27 inch but they are a little out of my price range, are there any 24 inch monitors around that price that are very good for gaming? any help is great, thanks.

 

I was thinking the AOC I2367FH for $174 but I heard that the screen is bad. I was also thinking for a 27 inch the AOC e2752She because I know some one who has 2 of them, but right now it is about $220 and I dont know if it will ever go on sale for cheaper, but that is kinda what I am looking for.

 

Right now I have a 1680x1050 monitor so I guess anything would be better, but I just need some help choosing.

Newegg is the biggest piece of shit I've ever had the displeasure of shopping at. Their search system is worthless and their selection of parts is about as empty as Steam's quality control.

 

I think I'm going to shop at NCIX US the next time I buy PC parts. NewEgg is ridiculous.

My right headphone of my headset broke again and I'm sick of wired headsets. Should I get the corsair vengeance 2100 or the Logitech  g930?

i see a lot of streamers use the logitech g930, i was thinking about buying myself a pair. it's nice that you can plug and play with  it too

i got mine removed 5 days before my 18th birthday hah bummer that was. i had 2 appointments, 1 for both bottom and 1 for both top, the bottom didn't hurt but the tops were pretty painful. Mine were already  almost fully grown and they all of a sudden started hurting one day. they didn't put me to sleep and only took like 10 minutes to remove each tooth :^)

Right click on the little white speaker and open playback devices

Right click on the bluetooth device and set it as the default device.

I was asking MrFub but the K70 is indefinitely a great looking mechanical keyboard, I kinda wish I bought one in Blues but I bought greens on the CM storm quickfire stealth.

i have 70k blue switches and i love it to death!

Some IPS displays have image retention, but it's not noticeable enough. You'll be fine.

Oh. Well, if better picture and colour is what you're looking for, the IPS monitor is the clear winner.

do you think the second one will have ghosting problems?

I don't know much about monitors, but the first one if you play a lot of competitive games like LoL or DOTA because you will benefit from the response time. If you just play shooters, or don't game at all, the second monitor is WAY better because of it's IPS panel. They look a lot better than TN.

i play LoL for one of my main games, but i would rather have better picture and colours

i'm in canada and r9 290's are $400-450 and gtx 780s are $500-600  

dont forget to get Dark Souls 2 if you havent already

Glad do see people are recommending it, I just bought it because I thought it looked neat. Graphics look amazing 

they don't look as nice as they should on my gtx 560 <.<
