  1. That only with extreme temperatures diffs, I’m just talking about like have a 360 rad on your intake and rout a A/C unit to the intake on the front and set it like 10° lower then ambient. But it would start with a delid direct to die block to get the heat out of the processor better.
  2. I was thinking someone like Silicon Lottery or an OEM or someone, they would be experienced at deliding, properly applying thermal paste and installing the cooler. Maybe offer a warranty for additional cost Then ship you the whole mobo with the CPU and block installed.
  3. I have had issues in the past with XMP over clocking and with the base speed being 5600, XMP one goes to what? 6800 or I think I’ve seen 7200. Maybe I’ll just ask, whats the moneys no object best 2x32gb sticks of 5600MHz RGB DDR5? Preferably white or at least with a white RGB defuser on the top? I could live with 2x16GB sticks if there is something significantly faster but I only want to run 2 sticks for stability and OCing as well so 64GB would be preferred.
  4. I have built my own, I just find them neat and I am interested in the whole space, either to recommend to friends or I was thinking of maybe ordering myself a hard tube watercooled build, I also like some of the company’s proprietary cases. And thats what I mean why I was upset at Origin, Corsair seems to have heavily tailored to the highend DIY PC crowd as of late but if I payed $6000 for a hard tube build and received what Jay or Steve did I would be pretty upset.
  5. I’m thinking you would either have to send them your parts or you would buy the CPU, Block and Mobo from them as one unit? With how hot these new high core count processors like the 12900, 13700 and 13900 are it seems like a dejavu of the 9th and 10th gen processors, even tho Intel improved the heat spreader, it’s not really an issue with overall cooling capacity, a 360mm rad or 2x240/80mm rads is fine but it seems to still be an issue with pulling the heat from the die more efficiently, thus either needing you to go sub ambient or delid. I use to see delids with liquid metal and then reinstallation of the spreader but using a direct to die block seems better, this also is a more permanent and stable solution at least as far as I can tell vs sub ambient temps with ice or something that is only temporary, you could maybe combine the delid with a force fed A/C unit as well but I just want to start with a direct to die block but I don’t trust myself and don’t want to bork a $600 CPU. A block cooling the back of the mobo might be helpful as well? Just a thought…
  6. Thanks i’ll watch that and check them out. One that I was most upset to see how bad there were was Origin/Corsair, especially on Jayz with the wonky hardline tubes. Is there a company that excels with hard tubing builds?
  7. So ram speeds with DDR5 are so fast now on a 13900k, if you don’t want to enable XMP for stability and are running 5600MHz native is it then beneficial to find the lowest CAS sticks of 5600MHz or is there a limit there as well?
  8. iBuyPower CyberPower Origin Dell Wal-mart HP Lenovo I’ve watched most of them but there are so many, did he ever find one worth recommending? most of the time they joke about how THEY ended up with the ONE BAD ONE, but after watching Jayz and Linus’s videos on the same subject most of these companies just seem to ship crap products on one level or another. Also while the physical issues could be chance, how Dell, iBuyPower and NZXT support treated them is definitely not just by accident. So I’m just wondering what the recommended OEM’s were, did he ever go to smaller boutique builders and such?
  9. You can play League at 4k, Rocket League, F1, plus you get the resolution for reading and productivity. I find it weird a TV is the best monitor… I have a LG OLED for my Xbox but figured monitors would have gotten there by now. I’m probably going to run a 4070Ti unless I find some extra money somewhere lol
  10. You mom sounds weird no offense lol As long as it’s not hanging off that wall The only reason I bring up the larger TV’s is because the 55” models, especially the G’s are brighter.m, but the 42” and 48” are still good TV’s.
  11. Why do other residents the the house care about how much space the TV takes up at the end of YOUR bed? Actually the C3 and G3’s are out, they are quite a bit more money tho as there are no sales like on the 2’s.
  12. If you keep it half closed on the TV side it will be fine. If you could go with the 55” G2 that will be the brightest model but a 42-48” C2 isn’t bad
  13. IDK I kind of wanted to game in HDR and 4K now that windows scaling is better even if HDR isn't... I also liked the ultra low motion blur mode some have now although that doesn't usually work with HDR IIRC but ULMB for browsing and HDR for gaming seem like not a HUGE PITA to me to flip. Also I got this in like 2017 so I was just thinking technology has moved on like with my CPU and GPU, I'm planning on upgrading my computer but can't make sense of the monitors.
  14. I have an Asus ROG PG279 This was back when prices for lot's of stuff were flat, Highest end non Titan GPU's were around $700 forever, best i7 was $300-400 for like 10 years, and a crazy highend monitor was $700 TOPS. Now we live in an age where all technological advancements come with a price, we get more cores but an i5 is $300, an i7 is $400 and an i9 is $600 and I have noticed HDR and OLED monitors have gone nutz as well. OLED use to be not good enough for a gaming monitor so you either had fast refresh or good looking but were lucky to get 120hz but now they seem to be there so what are the best 27" monitors with the best HDR and everything? I'd like 144-165hz, don't need 240 or anything light that.
  15. Just don't leave a static image up on the screen all day and turn on "Burn in reduction" on your Xbox
