Just wanted to post an up date in case anyone else ever wonders the same thing. So I ripped the loop apart and installed the flow in the correct direction. Under full load the temps are the same but, at idle it dropped a couple C

However, it was worth it only because I replaced the tubing and now the runs are more even and horizontal. It looks much cleaner

Build coming along nicely but slowly. Waiting on cpu and cablemod cables to arrive. Also waiting on ampere release but might run current gpu but dont want to waste tubing.... will see release date.

bottom rad still to install. Then do bends and such. Keeping eye out for acetal z490 monoblock too.

Why not buy the 10/12 version of the kit by Thermaltake? The mandrels in the other kit as well as the silicon insert will be incompatible. I know that PCCaseGear is out of stock of the 10/12 kit until mid-August but you can get EKWB 10/12 bending tool, a Bykski 12mm OD bending rubber (insert) and an EKWB reamer from PLE Computers (supply your own hacksaw) for less cost. If your heart is set on the Thermaltake kit, the 10/12 version is in stock at MWave.

As long as you're playing at 1080p you should be fine for over 60 fps. But like @Mateyyy said your CPU could be another limiting factor here. I've seen some weird stuttering issues with non-hyperthreading CPUs from Intel in this game.

I bought it when it released on Steam and it hasn't really changed since then - around 40-60FPS (depending on the scene) at 1440p high settings.
I don't know how it fares though with just a 4C/4T CPU.

Hey. Just looking for an insight into red dead redemption 2 on pc. Been wanting to get it but not too sure if i can run it smoothly with medium to high settings. I got the game on release day and i just couldnt play 5 mins on low settings even menu was messed up. So got refund straight away and decided to wait for fixes. But now i want to get it again but wanted to see if other people with same specs as me or close was able to run without issue.

I have used Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless (over-ear) which sound amazing but bit expensive. Sound clarity and reproduction is audiophile level. Not as much bass as other headphones tho. Right now im using Audio Technica ATH-M50xBT and they sound as good as the Sennheiser and with more bass but no ANC. I use it in the gym where it gets pretty loud and it cuts most if not all outside noise depending on music and volume level. Sennheiser wins on clarity. Audio Technica's are much cheaper. Might be hard getting the Sennheiser 2.0 since the 3.0 just came out.

Drain valve in worst place. Apart from that im happy. When full system on should look good. RGB from fans and gpu block.

The cooling process is basic physics. The bigger the surface area, the better the cooling. That is why thicker radiators and denser fins can bring more cooling performance. But! There is always a „but“. Thicker radiators and/or radiators with greater FPI value need adequate air flow so that their performance is properly exploited. High static pressure fans, and fans that are properly designed to be used on radiators, always have an advantage, as we already discussed in the “Fans for Liquid Cooling” blog post.

But you probably want some CAD software like AutoCAD (can be very expensive).
I don't know what exactly you plan on doing but if it's just hobby or a home project, I would just recommend to stick with Blender 2.8

The listed thicknesses dont look too extreme, so dual rads should be possible. @Corsair Nick

This example photo is getting used a lot these days, haha.  500D would be recommended to have 25mm thickness radiators in order to clear all your runs and components.  The example below is a build we did a few years ago.  240mm in the top and 360mm in front, both 25mm thickness.  If you're a seasoned builder, you might be able to make thicker radiators work, but can't guarantee it.

With the launch of our Corsair Hydro X Series, we also launched a configurator which helps out new users determine what parts they need.  Not sure what your experience is with custom loops, but this might help you out in getting started:

Plan is. Slim rad on side as intake. then other rad on top exhaust. then loop res>pump>gpu>rad(top)>cpu>rad(side)>res.

should be, it lists the regular "black edition" 2070 and 2080 which tells me the black edition EVGA uses the Founders PCB, so provided EVGA didn't go custom PCB for the Super Black Edition then it should be fine. a 2070 Super Founders PCB is the same board and components (with the exception of the specific GPU Die and Memory modules) as a Regular 2080, so just confirm with @Evga that the 2070 Super Black is a Founders PCB layout and you will be good.

I'd go with the 2060, at 1080p it gets over 100fps at high settings on almost all games. there's little point going with a more expensive card for 1080p gaming. But if you plan on upgrading you monitor before you upgrade your graphics again i would aim a little higher.
