  1. tonymacx86.com has a TON of information on how to build a Hackintosh and also has a forum that know's more about this stuff than people on here do. I'ld head over there and see what you can find.
  2. Your best bet it to wait until Cyber Monday, but, if you want it now, this is what I would go with: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (£174.98 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£73.98 @ Ebuyer) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Red 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory (£50.99 @ Ebuyer) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£29.99 @ Aria PC) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card (£249.98 @ Aria PC) Case: NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case (£89.50 @ Aria PC) Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£38.49 @ Amazon UK) Monitor: AOC E2476VWM6 60Hz 23.6" Monitor (£88.74 @ Aria PC) Total: £796.65 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-11-28 18:06 GMT+0000
  3. I like the headphones the most because they look great and from what I've heard, sound and feel great too.
  4. One problem <--No woodworking skills
  5. Don't really know where to put this, so I'm putting it here. Anyway, found this awesome desk that could very easily be modded a bit to make a PC in a desk. There isn't a ton of clearance, so water cooling your CPU would be a must. Also you would have to use a PCI-E extension cable to move the card to a place where it could lie flat, but in some ways that's good so you get to see the cooler more clearly. Anyone else have thoughts. I might do this for my next build.
  6. actually 30, but there's still the problem of getting the invite. I'm like a millionth on the waiting list. Seriously.
  7. Which is exactly why not the two. I need the phone by the end of the summer, and I doubt I'll get an invite by then. Unless someone could shoot me an invite. That would be great.
  8. Looking for a phone. Which of those two is better. Why? Any other phones in that price range worth looking at.
  9. Well I gtg to bed. thanks for all the help guys,
  10. You realise that no one actually pays attention to you, right? The only people who think what you're doing is funny is you, and... Wait. It's just you.
  11. I'm confused. When did I ever say I was rendering? Anyway, that's not what I'm going to be doing. I'm going to be building a hackintosh, and from what I've heard. Amd cards don't work in them (correct me if I'm wrong.) I was going with the i7 because it has a higher clock speed and same cores. I still don't understand how a worse spec'ed chip can outpreform a 4790k
  12. One, this is gonna be a hackintosh, so an AMD card is a no-no. Secondly, Mini-ITX. Finally, why the Xeon. I could get a better preforming i5 for less (4690k costs less than that and is unlocked quad core, and 3.5Ghz
  13. It's the cheapest 2x4 red ram there is. The differance is almost 0, so... But just to make you happy PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($279.99 @ Micro Center) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($26.99 @ NCIX US) Motherboard: MSI Z97I AC Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard ($127.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($49.89 @ OutletPC) Storage: Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($49.99 @ NCIX US) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($47.99 @ Best Buy) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 960 4GB Video Card ($239.99 @ Amazon) Case: Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ITX Mini ITX Tower Case ($64.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: NZXT HALE82 V2 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($65.98 @ Newegg) Monitor: LG 23MP47HQ 60Hz 23.0" Monitor ($119.99 @ Newegg) Total: $1073.79 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-07-18 01:43 EDT-0400
