  1. Thank you everyone for the help. For the record, I went with the Crosair H105.
  2. Hi all, For reference, this is my computer build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Andrewblakem/saved/yXzwrH Note: The PCI-Express card is not actually in the build. I'm looking for a liquid cooler for my CPU and I don't have much time to make a decision without missing out on the Cyber Monday deals. I pretty much don't know what I need. I'm currently using the stock fan for my CPU and I'd like to be able to over clock it to get the best performance. This caught my eye simple because the color matched my black/red build: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835856023 Would this work? What all would I need if I purchase this, or is this it? Is it compatible with my system (having enough room for the tube)? What other options would I have that would be better for under 100$? Any help is great, I appreciate it!
  3. Somehow it's picking up the sound of my mom coughing in the other room. I can hear it through the audio the microphone produces but not when i'm just listening to it with my own ears.... odd.
  4. Any suggestions for eliminating background noise? I'm using this set up for live streaming on Twitch. As you saw in the pictures I'm using a stand to pick it up off of the desk. It picks up typing on the keyboard, chair moving, door opening, and everything else very clearly and loudly.
  5. Have to have the gain, mic, line/usb and main mix knobs turned on for audio or microphone to work. All 4. Didn't have anything to do with the red/black button or the sliders. I guess I just didn't try the right variations previously but your post got me to mess with it again and figured it out so thanks
  6. I watched both of those videos posted above and many others before even making this thread. I've fiddled with all the knobs on it. It's not even picking up my audio because the green lights on the mixer don't light up when I speak.
  7. The playback tab (the last one, "USB AUDIO CODEC" is what appears when i plug in the mixer) Top of the mixer: I don't think I have a suite for the driver like I stated in a private message to you on the forums.
  8. Well I did that for the playback tab and got audio coming through my speakers again, so thanks for that. But under the recording tab I do not see behringer mixer. This is what I see:
  9. Probably not. I've downloaded the driver from the Behringer website for this mixer. What should I do now? I've always used USB microphones in the past and never touched a mixer in my life so bare with me
  10. What do you mean? The microphone requires phantom power and the mixer supplies it (or is supposed to, it says phantom power right under the xlr plug-in)
  11. Hello everyone, I recently bought the MXL 770 Condenser Microphone with a Behringer Xenyx 302USB Mixer. I'm using an XLR cable to connect my microphone to the audio interface, but I can't seem to get it working. I know that the Xenyx has power because when I plug the USB into my computer the orange light comes on in the top right corner. Also another problem; when the Xenyx is plugged into my computer I can't receive sound from my computer through my speakers or headphones. Behringer unfortunately doesn't have a customer support number that you can call. I've looked online for about 2 hours for an answer to this or how to set up and configure the Audio Interface to record using my microphone, but can't find anything. Please help! Here is a picture of the set up for what it's worth:
  12. That's why I originally suggested an EVGA Super Nova. Not any other name. It's what I have and from my personal review it is perfectly fine and was a good price. It's a very suitable suggestion. I'm not talking about other Super Nova's or other series from EVGA so I have no idea why you are arguing that point at all.
  13. In my opinion, you have Google for what you don't know and you will learn along the way. I wouldn't recommend you let this be a factor that prevents you from learning how to program. Agreed that logic is MUCH more important than the actual mathematics aspect.
