    i changed it from legacy+UEFI to UEFI only and it seems to solve the problem.  i'll mark this as solved once it's finished installing. thanks guys

    The HK is an HQ but with overclocking support. If you want to have the option of overclocking get the HK, if you don't care about that, get the HQ.

    K series in a laptop is qinda' redundant since you are very limited on how much can you OC, if at all

    Well I think it's a better microphone overall, it's smaller, lighter and won't get in the way as much. You also won't need certain shock mounts or addons from Blue to fit the AT2020 as most shock mounts and other items will do the job fine unlike the Yeti. Both will do a superb job for your situation so whichever you like the look and sound of, go for.

    From that video, you can see at the end that he removed the piece where your broken connector is. That piece is the bridge between the drive sata connector and the usb connector. So yes, it it possible to get the drive out of the enclosure and use it as an internal drive.
