Not so much, I am running at 70ish degrees Celsius under full load on the Intel Tuning Utility stress test, on completely stock clock speeds and I have heard this is fairly common for 7700k's. The real problem is when gaming I am hitting 60ish degrees and the fans are much too loud and become a distraction. I have tried messing with the fan curve but then the CPU becomes hotter and ideally, I would like some headroom for some light overclocking.
