So true all should have a chance of purchasing on the free market. That said I do not think these cards were put up on New Egg, Amazon and other online planforms where all could bid on them.
I think your statement should read they dont stand to loose anything being that Nvidia cant blackamail them since they dont manufacture GPU's. Sure they tried!
Why the negative outlook on AMD? Look around at all the products just starting to take use of Vega from AMD APU, Intels APU/Nuc, AMD Laptops and of course Computer GPU gaming/mining.
Not sure what your babbling about. AMD makes GPU's for the computer market and they cant control who choose to buy them at what price that is set by retailors. All I see is Nvidia wished they would have sold all the product AMD sold last years to miners in addition to gamers they already sell to.

Think Vega 64 uses a bunch of power. Vega 64 undervolted which I own one performs almost the same using a bunch less energy. No telling how powerful they are @ low power until they are released. My gut tells my they are gonna do well with power and still perform well for APUs. Core for core Ryzen also uses less power than Intels CPU as well.
