  1. Both of those look like solid options. Cheers.
  2. Maybe £80 max. About $100. No doubt it's good but a bit too pricey.
  3. Howdy! I'm looking for an ITX case that will support a 3.5" hard drive, a 2.5" SSD, a full size PSU and 130mm tall cooler. Already been looking around but I thought I might as well ask because I have no experience building in an ITX form factor. Any tips for building in said case (or ITX's in general) will be warmly welcomed. Ta.

  5. A little over a year later it finally happened http://imgur.com/vx0FuY5
  6. The best mouse for gaming is, by far, what you are comfortable with. Some people like lightweight mice, some like heavy mice, some need a high tracking speed, some only use wrist movements, some prefer higher lift-off distances, some like it low, some people like light clicks, some prefer heavy clicks, some want loads of side buttons, some want no side buttons at all, some use high CPI, some use low CPI, some want a low click delay, some aren't bothered, some people hate smoothing, others can't detect it. People need to stop telling others what's best for them by basing it off of their own preferences. People also need to stop with the 'fanboy' nonsense. If someone is comfortable with the DeathAdder's shape and performance, or any mouse shape and performance, then leave them be and stop implying that their preferences are inferior to your own.
  7. You're asking for a recommendation. They gave you a recommendation. Quit being so rude. Logitech is one of very few, possibly even the only company, that actually cares about their mice. Their click latency is low, their firmware is good with very stable polling and little-to-no smoothing, they introduced new designs for the left and right buttons to reduce pre-travel, they improved the performance of the AM010 by adding a gyro and accelerometer and got it to track up to 12m/s when the AM010 alone can only do 3m/s. The list can go on but I'm rambling. Just think about it. Maybe there's a reason people like Logitech products. They don't outsource and let random chinese factories make their products, firmware and software. They have their own factories so they can achieve good QC. They have in-house testing equipment that probably NO OTHER company does. These are the reason that they make good products. The random factories many other companies use just throw out products without thinking about their performance. Rant over.
  8. The most similar to that one, I think, is the one I'm using just now. The Quickfire Rapid-i. Got mine for £75 from Box. Available in MX Brown, Red or Blue. White backlighting. Tenkeyless. Perfection, at least for me. On Amazon for £80 just now. Just a word of warning, I found that MX Blue switches ended up being obnoxiously loud for my taste. I had a Quickfire TK with Blues and ended up replacing it after a few months with the Rapid-i with Browns. I meant to throw it up on Ebay but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'd recommend Browns if you want the tactile bump and Reds if you want no tactile bump. That's just a recommendation, if you're set on Blues, fire away. Everyone's different.
  9. I mainly use a QcK Heavy for my mouse. I have an Asus speed pad under my keyboard purely because it's silky and feels nice. The QcK is rougher, but still feels fine on the wrist, and has higher static friction, which is just someting I've gotten used to and prefer over my other speed pads. Another thing I like about the QcK is that it's black and white, so no colour clashing.
  10. Quickfire Rapid-i with MX Blue Boom! Done. I use the MX Brown variant, myself.
  11. 18cm hands aren't tiny It depends on the width of your hands. I'm quite lanky, so my hands are the same, long and narrow. If you have shovel hands you might be fine. Are you a palm grip by any chance? Also, there has recently been another report on OCN of the M65 Pro not responding at startup. Both mice seem to have their issues but hopefully you can get lucky.
  12. I've had it for over a year and everything's good. However, I've had 2 G100s', a G100 and a G90 and the most noticable difference between them was the scroll wheel. Only one of the G100s' felt good, the others were okay. The G100s has the nicest feeling clicks, too, compared to the G100 and the G90. I'm pretty sure this is because the G100s has some sort of padding material on top of the plastic part that makes contact with the switch.
  13. M65 Pro uses the 3360 (just a quick correction), which is arguably superior to the 3988 (which has extra smoothing at CPI's above 1550). The 3360 has native increments of 100, the 'Logitech' 3366 has native increments of 50, as does the 3988. A known fault on the Torq X5 is the scroll bug (I've owned this mouse and experienced it myself) where you would scroll down and suddenly it will jump up the page and you'll need to scroll down again. There have been quite a few reports of this happening. However, there have been 2 reports of the M65 Pro not working/resetting itself. One of these was caused by a grounding issue within the mouse. The other was posted recently on this forum. The shape and size is preference. The M65 Pro is quite wide compared to the X5 and is also heavier, as you already know. There are side buttons on the opposite side of the X5 which may interfere with your hand, depending on how you grip the mouse. Having owned the M40 and M45, which are the same dimensions, I'd find the M65 to be too wide for my 20.5cm hands and the sandpaper finish on the sides isn't very pleasing to touch, personally, and wears down after minimal use. The X5 is better, but the incredibly frustrating scroll bug kept me from keeping it. For the money, the M65 Pro would be better, I think, and probably the one you'll have less problems with considering there are some people that have actually used it and never experienced it randomly not working/resetting itself.
  14. Yes, those should be fine. It doesn't say which brand they are, or if they even are branded, but they should work fine, provided they're actually PTFE. Most mouse feet are ~0.6mm in thickness so it probably won't affect the tracking. Are you using a mousepad currently? Is it textured at all? Does it feel silky? If you're not using or have never used a cloth pad, then I'd probably recommend the speed pad since you're not playing highly competitive games. The speed pad is also silky, from what I've gathered about 'speed' pads (I own 2 'speed' pads), so it should feel nicer on your wrist.
  15. I know of someone who had a problem with the mouse resetting itself. There was a grounding issue within the mouse where something was touching a screw. Wouldn't be surprised if that it is the cause.
