So I just ordered a new monitor! Should be here by mid-February (it's still on pre-order in Poland despite being available in some other parts of the world already).

It should be a nice upgrade, it's a 144Hz FreeSync monitor with HDR but it's tested to work with Nvidia cards in terms of variable refresh rate technology so my 1080Ti should be a perfect match for it

Just wanted to point it out for budget GPU buyers, an RX 570 was recently re-tested by HardwareUnboxed under 2019 Adrenalin Edition drivers and here's the result against its direct competitor at the moment:

Guess which one is more expensive? The 43% slower 1050Ti (chart below sorted by price [ascending]):

TL;DR Do not buy a 1050Ti because it's terrible value.

Oh that's just brutal about Nvidia's stock price Found in the comment section on TechPowerUp For Nvidia haters though - AMD's graph looks similar because of the mining crash.
The only difference is that it dropped from ~35USD to ~20USD, not from ~290USD to ~130USD so the amount of money lost was a lot bigger. It was a larger blow for Nvidia (though they do have a lot more money to lose).

At first I got really excited for the new Radeon VII GPU when watching live AMD Keynote at CES (besides the stupid name), but when the comparison to the RTX 2080 turned out to be pretty much equal I looked at my awesome 1080Ti and cried a little that the latest & greatest, first 7nm GPU from AMD is pretty much just as fast as this. And it's last gen

Also, Lisa Su said "25% more performance at the same power" so it's still power consumption of a Vega 64, the difference is that it doesn't' perform like a 1080, but like a 1080Ti/2080... Not that impressive for 7nm...

EDIT: Also, it's going to be available on February 7th and it's going to cost $699...

I needed one fan for the back of my P400 case, I also wanted it to be RGB but I don't like the idea adding separate controllers when I already have an Aura Sync-compatible motherboard so I found this recently released product and I jumped for it.

I  just ordered a 3-pack of Thermaltake Riing 12 RGB Sync Edition fans, one for the back of my case and the two left will be used on the CPU radiator to help Corsair ML120 Pros on it. They look good, aren't as "rainbowy" as Corsair LL ones and don't require a dedicated, proprietary hardware controller to set up the lighting on them.

I'll post some pictures of my rig with the new 1080Ti after I install those fans when they arrive. Can't wait

This "full game" box below, only contains a code for vbucks and the Battle Royal mode (already free), NOT the single player "Save the world" mode ...

Apparently lots of people are not aware that either, BR is free, or that this doesn't include STW!

So I decided to buy into the Nvidia G-Sync ecosystem in the near future and grabbed myself an MSI GTX 1080Ti GAMING TRIO, should be here by Wednesday.

    I hope I won't regret it

As for the card itself, it looks awesome, has an overkill cooler and some say it's the best 1080Ti model so I decided to grab it. We'll see how it really performs

I'm gonna be buying a monitor in the next two months, what I want is an IPS/VA panel with 144Hz refresh rate and either G-Sync or FreeSync. 2560x1440 resolution & preferably 27" screen size.

As for the card to be paired with it, should I go for a high-end Vega 64 (monstrous Sapphire Nitro+) which is cheap here and buy a cheaper, FreeSync monitor, or should I go for the RTX 2070 (or used GTX 1080Ti if I spend more money) and spend even more for a G-Sync one?
