So I managed to sell my father's Sapphire RX 580 8GB Nitro+ for around 650$ and I got him an MSI GTX 1070 8GB Aero OC instead for...420$ :D With identical warranty period left. Quite a good deal I'd say! A better GPU and 230$ left in the pocket ;)

 

It's a blower-style cooler sadly, but it's surprisingly quiet, even if you set the fan to 100% speed manually. Not too bad in a closed case like the NZXT H440 Razer that he has.

 

And yes, I have tested it in Firestrike and it's quite a bit slower than my 980Ti (2000 GPU score slower when both cards are at stock) ^_^

    Damn, I wish I could sell mine for around the same price here... But used ones go for less than 1070s.

    @Eibe Here, usually RX 580s 8GB and used 1070s go for a similar price, but this was pretty much the best 580 model so it sold quite high, as for the 1070 purchase, I found a local deal posted the same day, called the guy and drove 30km to get it but it was worth it!

     

    As a bonus, I drove a BMW E91 330xd with 280BHP there so it was a fun trip too! :P 0-60 in 6-6,5 seconds soooo... not bad for an estate car :P
