  1. @CPotter I second this question. I would buy many merch items if you had a section for LTT/CSF/TQ merch.
  2. The reason I prefer WD is I know that they are more reliable than SG or other manufacturers.
  3. I know it's a fast drive, but I still need the bigger storage for my other stuff that I will be transferring to the new pc if I win.
  4. Yeah, that's the problem, they set a $3,000 USD budget, so I have to work everything around that. I also prefer WD drives, js.
  5. That's a lot less storage, I wanted a big HDD for video recordings and things.
  6. I have this build that I built specifically for MSI's Holiday Build contest, where you create a build with specific components being MSI-branded, but anything else can be whatever. I'm almost finished with my build, but I can't decide how I want to split up the storage. Right now, it has a 850 Pro 256GB SSD and a WD Gold 8TB HDD. Is there another way to better split it up, like more SSD space than HDD space? Thanks. Here's the build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/AgentM101/saved/CkRK8d
  7. Yes please, do that. I would appreciate it, as I have been looking at custom IEMs for a while as I play guitar. Thanks for offering to write a review of them as they are the lowest-end, if you can call them that.
  8. I have a pair of Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 headphones, but the 3.5mm connector has become so bent that I cannot use them for anything. I was thinking of one of four options: 1. Replace with same headset. 2. Replace with new headset (Astro A40, idk what else) 3. Replace with 64 Audio A2E Custom IEMs 4. Other option My problem is, my current headphones survived over a year's worth of bus rides, being dropped on the ground and thrown into sports bags, all the sweat I put in them, other stuff I can;t remember right now. Their replacement must be able to survive the same, if not more punishment. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks!
  9. I want the Razer Blade because I want to play games at not 15 fps lol
  10. I currently have a laptop running Radeon 7640M onboard graphics and an AMD A8-4500M. The more parts for a new build, the better!
  11. I really like how cheap this monitor is, but I can't find it in a store that isn't out-of-stock or doesn't ship it. What about the Asus VX248H-P?
  12. I will be getting a desk in the next few months and I would like a monitor to have on it to connect to my laptop. I would like some suggestions from not myself. I would like 1920x1080p with an HDMI input, not really bothered about the screen type (TN, IPS, VA, etc.), would like more than 22". The price must be under $200 CAD. Cheers!
  13. I want to replace my current laptop with a desktop setup, but I'm having problems finding parts cheap. I currently use a Toshiba Satellite L850D running a AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon 7640M integrated graphics, 8GB of RAM and 1TB HDD(Roughly 1/3 full of stuff). I want to keep the price low enough for my mom and dad, since they don't want me spending too much on it. I'm not sure what I'll need, but I play games like DiRT Rally, Garry's Mod and Rocksmith 2014. The top price is probably $750 and it has to include a monitor and Windows 8.1(Cause free upgrade). Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
  14. I was planning the build for when my laptop gives out, most likely within the next 4-6 months, the way it's going. Also, the CX430M doesn't work with the 960, apparently, needs an extra PCI-E connecter, which the CX500M has and the CX430M doesn't. So, the CX500 it is. Here's the finalized build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/AgentM101/saved/WwhJ7P
