  1. WOW I have never seen anyone talk about this. These look amazing and are definitely a great idea.
  2. Thanks for some very informative suggestions. Learned a lot and am going to bring up these options with her to see how it sticks. Appreciate your time and help.
  3. I love the b650 elite AX I've used it in a computer for my brother and its great but unfortunately I can't use it in her build because it needs to be white. Thanks for the information on the ram speed its good to know I can prob go lower without having to worry about performance issues. I'll take that into account when switching them out for something else. I've had 2 different brand new teamgroup t-force ram sticks fail/ not stable in 2 different computers so I don't think I will use those ones as I've kinda lost trust in it. Thanks again
  4. Thank you for the pc parts list. Just wondering about the Powercolor Hellhound graphics card since I've never seen or heard anything about this company. Do you have any experience with them and is their support any good/ any bad qc issues that come with this company. I'll def look into the 7900xtx option. I didn't take it into consideration when Making this build because I've heard of how bad their drivers were with lots of people having issues just wondering if they've gotten significantly better since then and have cleaned up the software and drivers that come with their cards. Thanks again.

This would be the nzxt kraken cooler, Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO, and a Gigabyte AERO OC Card. This is a themed all white build which means even less options when it comes to choosing parts. Wanted suggestions/ opinions on the build and where I could spend a little less money without losing any real performance. Would very much appreciate suggestions for ram since currently I'm not too sure how important the cas being 32 or 36 will impact performance and if it even needs to be 6400 in the first place. Other places I would like opinions on is whether the the nzxt 240 rgb vs rgb elite was worth it and hoping someone who has either one of the coolers could let me know if the lcd pixel density and refresh rate was worth paying the ridiculous price on the elite version or to save money and go for the non-elite variant. If you have specific videos on these topics that you think is worth watching to provide me some insight on it please link them and I will take the time to watch. All suggestions are appreciated. Thank you for your help Update: The psu doesn't need to be white because in this pc case its separated and can't be seen so no restrictions on that one. Final Update: Have gotten a lot of great suggestions and ideas for ways I can change my build. Going to put a pin in it for now and try and implement suggestions provided into my build. Thanks for everyone that helped really appreciate the time you took to help me out.
  6. Thing is this pc won't be using more than 450 w and even if the 3070 peaks in powers at times I don't think it will eat 100W. I'm still unsure on it but see no reason why I should be buying a 650W PSU. Using Power Supply Calculator - PSU Calculator | OuterVision and PC Partpicker both recommend a 400 - 450W PSU and to be safe I went with 550 W. I will look into it more. Thanks for the suggestion.
  7. I plan on using the 5600x included cooler since I won't be overclocking and I don't do video editing so I won't be stressing the cpu to the max generally.

GPU is being purchased through EVGA since it seems to be cheaper from there. If anyone has bought through EVGA lmk how it went and if there are any extra costs not shown. Thank you.
  9. doesn't the 9700k perform better than the 3700x in gaming tho? wouldn't that be better for my situation? also isn't intel not affected by faster ram speeds as much as ryzen where it really matters.

  12. I've just seen that this PSU has reviews saying that the coil whine on it is very loud. Wondering if anyone here has it or has experience with it can comment on it.
  13. Anyone have experience with SeaSonic S12III notice any coil whine from it. Is it normal for this PSU?
  14. I will just wanted to see if there are any parts here that are big no no. Just so I have a base plan for black friday.
  15. Feel like for these parts this case shouldn't be causing any issues.
  16. $1000 CAD with tax so ~ $890 CAD no tax. All suggestions are welcome. If anyone has had experience with any of these parts please let me know how they were. 1080p 60fps gaming is the goal. 17. Sorry for the long delay. University work as well as pubg for gaming. I really don't want to lug around a thick laptop so the smaller the better.
  18. Hi I'm looking to buy the GP63 8RE-202CA Leopard from msi and was wondering fi there was anyone here who has bought this laptop and if there were problems with it and if they were able to solve those problems. If anyone here has any recommendations for a laptop with similier specs for the price of $1600 CAD your suggestions are welcome. Thank you
  19. matebook X pro is out of budget. looks like XPS might be highly recommended. Thanks.
  20. Thanks for the reply I will take the XPS laptop into serious consideration however I will have to remain a little more critical with it since it seems that other users are reporting some major issues. After a quick google search this is one of the first links.https://www.ultrabookreview.com/23071-xps-15-9570-review-follow-up-3-months-later/
  21. this seems like the route I will have to choose between. Do you have any recommendation for an ultrabook/egpu combo. I'm not well versed in either topic.
  22. I've heard that the Dell XPS laptops have had some really bad issues and I'm a little worried when it comes to things like this. Could you tell me if you have a had any issues with this laptop yourself during your time abroad.
