  1. I've just seen that this PSU has reviews saying that the coil whine on it is very loud. Wondering if anyone here has it or has experience with it can comment on it.
  2. Anyone have experience with SeaSonic S12III notice any coil whine from it. Is it normal for this PSU?
  3. I will just wanted to see if there are any parts here that are big no no. Just so I have a base plan for black friday.

  6. Sorry for the long delay. University work as well as pubg for gaming. I really don't want to lug around a thick laptop so the smaller the better.
  7. Hi I'm looking to buy the GP63 8RE-202CA Leopard from msi and was wondering fi there was anyone here who has bought this laptop and if there were problems with it and if they were able to solve those problems. If anyone here has any recommendations for a laptop with similier specs for the price of $1600 CAD your suggestions are welcome. Thank you
  8. matebook X pro is out of budget. looks like XPS might be highly recommended. Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the reply I will take the XPS laptop into serious consideration however I will have to remain a little more critical with it since it seems that other users are reporting some major issues. After a quick google search this is one of the first links.https://www.ultrabookreview.com/23071-xps-15-9570-review-follow-up-3-months-later/
  10. this seems like the route I will have to choose between. Do you have any recommendation for an ultrabook/egpu combo. I'm not well versed in either topic.
  11. I've heard that the Dell XPS laptops have had some really bad issues and I'm a little worried when it comes to things like this. Could you tell me if you have a had any issues with this laptop yourself during your time abroad.
  12. Thanks for the suggestion I had a quick look and it looks like it could be a valid option going to do a more indepth look at all the laptops once I get a list of suggestions.
  13. Hi anyone got any good recommendations for a ~$1500 CAD laptop ($2000 with financing option). Things I need this laptop to do: weight/ thickness: I'm heading into uni and going to be mobile quiet often so this laptop can't be thick and heavy. Something like the MSI GE series laptops are too thick and won't work for me. gaming: while I'm no extreme gamer I would like to be able to play a game such as PUBG at 60fps 1080p Battery: I need the laptop to survive a long day of studying so a crappy battery size or very draining specs won't work for me. Build quality: I don't expect a laptop that's built like a tank but I also need it not to feel like its going to snap if I put my backpack down or look at it the wrong way. Cost: I live in Canada. budget is $1500 CAD or $2000 with a financing option (looking at you dell). Thank you to anyone who takes time to help me find a laptop like this. I will have notifications on so if there are any questions please feel free to ask. I will also update the list as this goes on if there is anything I forgot. On a final note I will be majoring in accounting. Edit 1: Thanks to everyone that has given a suggestion this has helped me a lot. I will still be taking suggestions until the end of today. Below is a small list of the laptops that have been suggested. Laptops: Dell XPS laptops MSI PE series laptops
