  1. Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately all the mentioned options are closer to around the €150 mark on Amazon UK. I managed to find the NZXT H5 Flow on sale for €100. Seems a good option?
  2. Very valid point. Any good cases under the $100 range based on your own research and experience? Probably any that allow front airflow right? Perhaps one that will allow me to top mount the AIO with the memory I have?
  3. Hi, I am currently experiencing some high GPU temperatures in game, maximum temperature reaching around 88C and I would love to reduce that. I've recently applied fresh thermal paste to both the CPU and GPU to ensure the best possible outcome here. Currently, I'm running a 240 AIO intake on the front of the case and only a single 120mm exhaust fan at the rear. I invested in some Noctua case fans as you can see in the parts list below and before installing I would like to get your opinion on whether or not to switch the 240 AIO intake on the front, to a 240 exhaust on top. No doubt the 3 extra fans will help a lot, so they'll just go where the AIO isin't. Reason being, my CPU doesn't get challenged a lot in games and rarely goes above 65C, e.g. it has a lot of temperature headroom. Any quick tips before I undertake my endeavor, leave a comment below Note: I do have, and want, and need an overclock on my GPU to reach 144 FPS on Warzone 2, so this is why I'm exploring this option. Many thanks. 4. Thanks for your reply. I have searched online but did not find anything. I just emailed Deepcool support with my situation to see if they could help out in any way. Worth a try.
  5. It's already been delidded. Just using a cheapo air cooler at the moment. Going to overclock with the AIO. I guess I'll check out ziptying lol.
  6. I picked up a good deal recently for a bundle of computer parts. One item is a DeepCool GamerStorm CASTLE 360RGB V2 - which didn't come with any mounting options. I've only ever had air cooling so I'm at a loss with this AIO without the mounting equipment. Is there some type of universal mounting system I could buy? I'm planning to cool an i7-7700k, so it's an LGA 1151 socket. Link to Cooler - t.ly/FT73 The kit that comes with the item when purchasing new is in the image below. I have crossed off the items I have with a red X. The other items I guess I need, but I don't know which ones I need exactly and what they are even called. The AIO I have does seem to have 1 piece of the mounting system already attached to the CPU block. Not sure if its Intel or AMD though... Any help at all is appreciated. Just need to find what screws and bracket I need. Something like this? - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B096XHGTWQ/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A1OYBPU55BK2AN&psc=1
  7. I got back into playing Call of Duty back in 2019 and normally I like to have my browser open to the side with a stream or some class loadouts to try etc. I could do this no problem with Modern Warfare/Warzone and Cold War, but now with Vanguard when I tab out of the game, I need to wait 30 seconds for my start menu to open, my browser is literally unusable - tried Firefox, Chrome, Edge, but all unusable. I tried disabling hardware acceleration in all but no luck. My Computer Information: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 running at 4.0Ghz. Motherboard: MSI B450M Mortar MAX Red-LED Memory: 16GB (2x8GB) Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3200MHz Storage: 1TB Sabrent Rocket Q M.2 SSD + Samsung 500GB SSD. Video Card: XFX AMD Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition 8GB Windows 11 Pro: Fully Updated to Latest Version All the latest drivers are installed. My processor doesn't reach anywhere near full utilization while gaming and I know this because I can record gameplay using OBS without any issues at all... But somehow browsing the web or general computing tasks while tabbed out of the game is too much to handle? Hoping someone has some knowledge on this. Thanks.
  8. Are there any cheaper alternatives to those mentioned products? Maybe something with both built into one? Would rather not have 2 hubs in the case, sure you understand.
  9. I'm new to the world of RGB. I purchased 3x Corsair HD120 fans and an RGB HUB from Corsair. I connected the 4-pin fan connectors to the motherboard headers (MSI B450M MORTAR MAX). I connected the other fan connectors (smaller 4-pin) to the RGB HUB. I connected the RGB Hubs sata connector to the PSU cable. Now within iCue, I do not see the hub and cannot control the RGB, any ideas? Thanks!
  10. I am just commenting on the fact that I'm trying to see if there's more I can squeeze out of my benchmark or it's just simply luck of the draw and their cards, yet identical, perform better on average - regardless of the testing method. Thanks for your reply.
  11. Hi, I'm trying my hand at overclocking my XFX RX 580 GTS XXX 8GB GPU model and having strange results. I managed to find a very acceptable stable overclock with the Core Clock at 1425MHz and Memory Clock at 2250MHz. I'm using 3D Mark to generate performance reports and comparing them with others online. Only others with the same specifications as myself. My best benchmark was 4812 points, the highest results with my specs is 5397 points. 5397 points was achieved on a lower Core and Memory clock than my setup, how is that possible?
  12. I recently upgraded my WFH setup with a new desk and monitors. To complete my setup I would really like some speakers that allow me some rest from wearing headphones (DT 770 Pro) all day. To power my headphones and microphone I have a Behringer UMC22, so after searching for some cheap USB + 3.5mm speakers like these or these but thought why not see if there's something I could power with the L+R outputs at the back of my UMC22. Thing is, I'm a noob at this stuff and not sure what I even need to search to have an idea of what I need, hence why I'm here. What speakers under $50 would you recommend for casual background listening to pair with my UMC22? Thanks for your time
  13. Thanks peeps. Will switch it up now. My thought process was to hide the drive behind the GPU.
  14. I recently purchased a Sabrent Rocket Q 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 Drive; claiming to reach speeds up 3200MB/s read and 2000MB/s write. I assume the board is important so I have a B450M Mortar Max paired with a Ryzen 5 2600. Results are shown in picture attached.
  15. The CPU does not have integrated graphics. The monitor wouldn't be the cause no, cos it stays on, just goes to standby. Both have been updated.
  16. I recently started experiencing this problem on the 1650 Super. I would be gaming or even watching YouTube videos in the browser and my monitor would lose signal but remain powered on. Upon restart my NVIDIA drivers would not be detected so a smaller desktop resolution would be shown. I tried re-installing drivers using DDU first, re-install Windows and everything else you can imagine. I didn't think that this issue would relate to the rest of my computer so I bought a new Graphics Card - Sapphire RX 580 8GB. I installed the AMD drivers on a fresh Windows install and worked fine for 5 days up until now. Just minutes ago I was playing a game and my Graphics Drivers crashed causing a loss of monitor signal and a game crash, the screens regained signal showing the Windows 10 desktop, I then re-launched the game and got a loss of signal and had to hard reboot to get back to Windows. The only advantage this time for troubleshooting is AMD provide this Windows notification on restart - "Default Radeon Wattman settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure., any ideas as to what I should do next to make sure this doesn't happen again? Or should I just build a new PC? Full Specifications: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-A320M-H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory: Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Storage: Sabrent Rocket Q 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 580 8 GB NITRO+ Video Card Power Supply: Corsair TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply
  17. Hi all, I recently had an audio problem where I cannot use the microphone and headphones at the same time. I am currently using the Behringer UMC22 Audio Interface, I sold my old audio interface and bought the UMC22 to try and fix this problem, but it didn't fix it. The audio drivers are installed correctly. The UMC22 uses the ASIO drivers. The microphone will work on Windows startup, but stops when I begin to open apps such as Discord, which require the microphone. Windows will then default to the headphones working ONLY, to get any input to Windows from the microphone again, I need to restart Windows but the same problem occurs again. Any ideas why my Mic suddenly stops working? Side Notes: - When I restart and start up Windows 10, I hear a sound in my headphones, like the input/output is changing for sound. - The microphone works perfectly in a DAW, along with sound output, as I can change the "Audio Device Type" from "Windows Audio" to "ASIO". - When using the Mic in the DAW, within Windows settings and Sound settings, there is no input detected.
  18. I checked around for used cards, of course the 1660 super stood out, but I've since decided to go for a 1060 which I picked up for less than $150. The 1660 super retails for minimum $240 with prices up to $375 in my country. I checked the voltages and everything seems perfect PSU wise.
  19. So it wasn't the power supply that was the problem. The issue still persists. Managed to sell my current PSU so I will keep the new one anyway. Looking at buying an RX 580 8GB now to replace the 980ti.
  20. Oh I've had the PSU for almost 3 years now. The 980 Ti I've had for 2 months. So according to that review, I'm lucky to have gotten so much use out of this. Also, when gaming I had a custom fan curve for the 980 Ti to keep the temps down, I can't recall whether or not I had it overvolted too (without any changes made to core and mem clocks). Either way, it seems I'll just order myself a PSU. Will report back if it helps anything.
  21. Yeah I understand, a power surge would be the last thing I want. I was thinking of getting the Corsair TX550M 80+ Gold PSU, it seems to be the way to go when it comes to sub €100 choices. It's weird how within a matter of hours, the PSU just degraded like that after using it perfectly fine for over 2 months with the 980Ti.
  22. Just ran Prime95 for 15 minutes. Ran into no problems and CPU temps were great. The 12V results averaged around 11.808V. Here is a link to the CSV Log for HWInfo - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_bY056OTKKRZNlj7WzQ_ybPOzH3lgBK9/view?usp=sharing
  23. I will put load on the CPU and let run for a bit, then begin a GPU benchmark and see what the readings are like. Am I still looking at the 12V for the CPU load? Not sure what I should be looking for when loading the CPU...
  24. It's actually between 11.448V and 11.880V. That reading was in the BIOS. I managed to use HWInfo to create a detailed log including the 12V readings. Tomorrow I will put back in the 980 Ti and start the logging before running a benchmark, it should output what's needed even if the PC crashes right?
  25. So I managed to get the voltage reading, it goes between 11.448V and 11.880V on the 12V rail. Seems perfect to me. The GPU idles at 38C, I reapplied the thermal paste earlier today and knocked 6C off it at idle. Again I can't get a reading for GPU temps under load as I can't push any load with it.
