It's the semantics bullshit that has people up in arms and not owning up to the change of mind. 

Pretty sure @LinusTech is kicking his feet up on his desk right now. @nicklmg is the only one responding to this issue while Linus refuses to touch it. 
He posted a tweet in response and just let it hang. He really ought to come out and explain his thoughts and maybe even go back on this whole thing since he's upset so many people.
