SuperFlower got a reaction from KENZY9 in Is 32gb ram the sweetspot now?
I bought a kit of ddr4 ram, 16gb 3200mhz cl16, thinking that is the norm, like a couple of months ago everyone recomended 16gb, didnt think that things change so fast in the last couple of months and all people jump in the 32gb train so fast.

It is just crazy tbh, in summer everyone all over the forums said that you dont need more than 16gb ram, now I found out that its better to go with 32gb.
I guess I'll just buy another same 16gb kit and call it a day.

I'm also an enthusiast when it comes to pc but I have not noticed the ram trend went from 16 to 32 in just a couple of months.
I only game on my pc and have never seen my ram usage more than 12gb.

Watched this video, it seems 16gb is the sweetspot but it is really crazy how almost everyone when I look at their specs has 32gb ram.

The Leadex silver is an excellent psu with great ripple and components, protections, not so different from the Leadex Gold model, in fact they are mostly the same apart form the caps.
Found this and it explains it all:

And please read the full review from lab501 that I've posted earlier.
These units deserve to be Tier A psu along with Leadex Gold as the difference between silver and gold for Leadex is too little.

Amazing how bad these informations are, and I'm wondering how come we find it here in this forum? First of all, super flower leadex silver models 550w/650w are listed as tier b? On what planet do this people live? That psu is a fully modular with 140mm fan with eco button on/off and excellent build quality. I recently builded 2 pcs, oane with a 550w leadex silver and one with a 650w leadex gold II, and the build quality of the 550w was better thant the newer leadex gold II one. Apart from the caps used, there isn't any difference between leadex silver and gold, and find it a shame to put such a good psu at tier B.
    Heres a specialized review:

It is not based on leadex platform tho. This psu tier list is laughable, I have given the mods examples and reviews, evidence and they still don't respond with facts, truly is a psu tier list made by amaterus and should not be taken in consideration.

What crazy games did you see with rtx? There is only watch dogs legion and cyberpunk 2077 next year. Am I missing something?
As for the gpu upgrade, wait for next years 7nm, the gtx 1070 is still very strong for 1080p.

I guess it counts 1070ti as the difference is small between them.

Seriously? You're telling them to either spend 250 or so on a card that is actually worse than a 1070 in some cases, or spend a ridiculous amount of money on a card that they don't need.

Honestly...I'd just keep what you've got. The 1070 is still good for ultra/high settings. I'm running 2560 x 1080 75hz too and wanted a gpu that would last me a while, so I went for Radeon VII for my upcoming build. A bit overkill though, but that's what you should be looking at if you're upgrading from a 1070. Although I see no reason to do that as it can still get the job done at 60fps in most games. Whatever you do, make sure if you are buying a new gpu that it is 2 steps above the 1070. No point in getting a 2070 or Vega 64 as the improvement isn't worth the price you're paying. Either get Radeon VII, 2080 or a used 1080ti. Or just stay with the 1070 which is what I'd do.
