  1. I gathered some information from similar problems and what I am trying next is disabling the SSD in the bios and trying to install windows on one of my HDDs. If the windows install CD still won't boot I'll physically detach the SSD and try again. This way I can tell if the problem is the SSD (if it died of age)
  2. Hello ltt-community, Yesterday my PC started behaving weird, so I did a restart. While booting again my PC didn't get past the blue windows logo and after 5-10 minutes I restarted him again. This time I didn't got to the boot loop but it told me that no os could be found, I should detach all drives that do not contain windows so I did and restarted again. This time it told me that it couldn't find grldr. I tried to plug drives in&out but nothing helped. After I googled the problem I tried inserting the windows 7 boot CD I got and again no grldr even when booting from the CD, unless I go to the bios in the boot menu and manually tell it that it should boot from the CD this time. But when it trys to boot from the CD it gets stuck again in the boot loop where it shows the little bar and the 3 green "dots" moving from left to right for hours on hours. This is what made me think that it isn't due to a corrupted boot section but maybe the ram broke (because CDs won't boot too) so I tried every ram slot with every ram bar I had and no change. This is all I did so far. CPU AMD FX-9370 RAM 12GB Corsair Vengeance LP MB Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 (nothing changed at the bios version) GPU Palit GTX 970 PSU Corsair G700 Samsung SSD (containing windows) 2 WD HDD If you need more information tell me. Thanks
  3. If you need it for just one video: After Effects does it really easy and has a 30 Day free trial. If you need to make multiple videos and need the function for more than 30 days i would suggest getting AE
  4. First of all, thanks to all of you for the help A friend of mine has a i7 4790k and and another friend has an i7 6700k and because they are so happy with their i7's they recommended them to me and this is why i wanted to go with an i7. Also i have Photoshop and After effects but i don't use them, but i am thinking about getting into it in the next few years (and i want the pc i am building in the next month to work for a couple years) i want to go with an i7, so i don't have to upgrade later. And since DDR4 is as cheap as DDR3 in germany (50Euro for 16GB) i can afford it and it "future proofes" my pc better than DDR3 so i'll go with an i7 6700k. And since the time span between september an january is so short, i'll probably follow your suggestion and upgrade my cpu first. Mirror's Edge Catalyst released 8 days ago, if you where referring to this game with I talked to a friend who has the same gpu as me, but an i7 4790k and he gets more frames than me in every single game we tested (bdo, csgo, skyrim and gtaV) so my cpu is already a bottleneck if just a slight. So i will get definitely a intel cpu. I chose the 10x0 generation because it is cheap for what they do, i like the new software implementation like the high res screenshot thingy and i want to show that we want gddr5x so that they work harder on improving it. Also as i said earlier i want to get into photoshop and after effects in a few years, when i have 2 4k monitors so there will be a use for the 1080 and i will maybe even have to get a second one. And of course it's an prestige item. Just for csgo a gtx 970 would do it probably i think i had around 200 fps with my current build but i am not that sure anymore. I heard that DDR4 doesn't have that great performance impact, but other nice features. So thank you all again. I am pretty sure now that i will get an i7 6700k first and a gtx 1080 later.
  5. I never considered getting a 5th or 6th generation processor because of the not that affordable DDR4 but I'll consider it thanks for the tip I'll see if I can squeeze drr4 in my budget
  6. Maybe I should also mention that I want to play bdo in 1920x1080 with highest settings (including high end mode) with stable 50-60fps. So if someone knows if a CPU upgrade is enough for this please tell me
  7. Hey Guys, I am planning to upgrade my PC and at the end of August or September I will have the budget for it. At the Moment I have an AMD FX 9370 and a GTX 970 I want to upgrade to a GTX 1080, but I am afraid the amd Processor will be bottelneck the build. (I think it is a bottleneck already) and this is why i am thinking about getting an i7 4790k befor getting a new gpu. The only thing I am using my PC for besides browsing the web is playing Black Desert Online and I want to play the new mirrors edge too. I won't have the budget for both until January 2017. What I am also concerned about is if I get a 1080 in September maybe a better GPU will come out until January. What do you think? Should I get the CPU first and have the big performance boost in 2017 or should I get the GPU first because the chances of nvidia releasing a better GPU until 2017 are very slim. Thanks for your help
  8. I can't really say something that haven't been said yet. Once you took of the cooler always replace the thermale paste You seem to have the stock cooler, upgrading the cooler would give you better cooling performance if your pc and the fans in particular are very dusty cleaning it can improve cooling too Good luck
  9. do you see the bios screen when trying to boot? If yes do you see the windows logo or the welcome screen? If you see none of these, does you PC start? do you hear fan noise when attempting to start?
  10. I would guess your computer wouldn't boot the first time after trying to start it. At the Moment we or at least i can't help you without further Information. What OS do you have and what motherboard? The OS is the operating system your PC is running (Windows7, Windows 8, Windows 10, iOS (only on apple products) or Linux).
  11. Thanks so much mate, it seems solved i will test it now intensly, but i do not have any more lags. Thanks
  12. Often they want attention and hope that you follow them back if they follow you. I just ignore them and block them if they're spamming
  13. It lags always not only after booting. It shouldn't load anymore I'm running it at the moment maybe i find something thnx for your fast replies
  14. Hey Guys, with the recent update of Windows 10 i was one of the first to download it, because Windows 7 felt aged and the technical preview got my hyped for the release Version. But quickly i noticed some lags with my keyboard and some keys wouldn't work until pressed again. I thought my old keyboard would die on me so i looked for a new one, but shortly after i noticed some lags in websites and YouTube Videos. I changed from edge to Firefox but i had the same issue and a speedtest showed me that my Connection was fine (about 96-98mbit up- and 18-34mbit download) and my pc wasn't under heavy load. Later i noticed a lag in mousemovement, programs, games abd pretty muc everywhere but taskmanager and gpu-z didn't show any sign of load. In Photoshop it is the worst, i have to wait up to 5 secs to see what i have painted. Has anyone the same issue with Windows 10 or even have a solution? Is Windows 10 not the source of Trouble? Could my Hardware die on me? My SSD is about two years old and i often reinstalled the OS on it. My specs: Windows version 10.0 Build 10240 AMD FX-9370 @stock Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 Palit GTX 970 Jetstream Samsung SSD 850 PRO 128GB Thanks in advance R3tR0x
  15. there are 100"+ TVs but the picture doesn't look like high quality and there is no TV with a higher resolution than 4k so i thought of getting multiple smaler ones.
