Just upgrade the cooler and overclock
Pretty stupid to not overclock or atleast undervolt a k cpu tbh, esp when you have the board that can oc

I derped and didnt notice the 460/560 difference. Thanks for spotting it

here is the updated reasonable fart build. The price difference is negligible

ıt also makes sense to splurge another 60 aud to get to an overclockable z590 mobo while getting a 10600k. Will post that here as well

@JPN Could you update us on what build you end up buying. Me curious

This is a very solid build; I have some minor points to raise about it though.

    1. I take it that you wont be overclocking even mediocrely. For this reason you could get a cheaper motherboard and also not buy an aftermarket cooler. Just use the one 5600x comes with. With new generation of mobos and cpus coming; I think that is more reasonable for someone who wont OC. If I were to buy an aftermarket cooler I would instead buy the arctic freezer esports duo model. Better cooling for the money.

    2. maybe you could buy a cheaper cpu if you are being stingy. 5600x is the golden standard of cpus right now.  With the 6700xt you will be getting around 120 fps tops on apex legends. 60 fps on cyberpunk. Those numbers wont challenge the 5600x at all; so maybe you you could go for smth like a 10400f or a ryzen 3500x or 3600 instead. The 5600x will become relevant only when and if you have 240 hz screen.

    3. You may not need a hdd storage, you can always get it later if you start running out of space. I never ever exceed my 1 tb of space on my computer. You can take that out.

    4. I feel like we should also choose a monitor for you because it can REALLY make or brake the experience. It isnt only about the stats, the quality really matters. I dont know have lots of expertise on the subtle critical differences of monitors. But hardware unboxed aussie youtubers have sonre really great videos that will help you.

ı will post the altered stingy sh*t build soon

You're probably looking at a GPU upgrade for sure. Biggest problem is budget. I had a quick look at that site and even a 2060 is coming in at 5200 NOK so it's looking like you'd have to go down a generation from the 20-series. A 1650 or 1660 might be doable on that budget but I'm not sure you'll see a huge jump in performance at least not compared to jumping to a 3060 or something like that.

Motherboard is not the best quality. Maybe go with a B460M Steel Legend or Pro-vdh instead.

If you're using a B-series board, just use the i5-10400. The 10600K is an overclockable chip, but the b460 can't overclock. 10400 is also cheaper and should preform similarly.

Consider getting a case with a mesh front panel. This will keep your components cooler. Something like the MSI MAG Forge 100R, Metallic Gear Air Neo or Cooler Master NR400 are good choices.

The samsung 980 is actually a budget samsung drive with a dram cache and you can actually get a much better drive for around the same price. You can go with Kingston A2000, Western Digital Sn750, ADATA XPG GAMMIX S7 are good alternatives.

You can do, but wood can be heavy and expensive also tihngs to consider such as grounding and EMI, moisture, and warping/expansion with heat/cold

It would also have to be thicker, etc, since a thin sheet of steel is a lot more robust than a thin sheet of wood

Is my mobo health enough or should I sell it?
    Ok here are my confessions:
    1. I put my side panel in an awkward position and it slipped while the fan header was attached. The header detached bending the mobo fan pins. I bent them back and it works.
    2. I forgot to put the backplate in while building my pc(yes, I am a genius) so being lazy i ducktaped it to the back of the case it did look fine, and was sturdy. While cleaning my pc i manage to knee the usb's attached fast enough to push the case on my bed. No visual damage still functional.
    3. to open the gap between my gpus. I placed my 2nd gpu 5 slots away from the first one. The crossfire bridge was just a little bit short so I connected it with the tilting the 2.nd card and screwed a little bit, pulling on the gpus slightly. The pcie still works but I feel awkward really awkward about it.
Because of my crappy case the screws for gpus were a little off too, screwed only one lightly because the other wouldnt flt.
    4. I pushed Hard on the pcie locks, i mean hard. Still clicklng but they dont feel as rlgld as they used to.
    5. While wiring cables I wired them behind the backplate cutout. While closing the panel I kinda pushed on it not realising it was on the bacplate cutout, kinda pushing right behind the processor. Everything worked.
    6. And finally I used an ocz 1000 psu for a 7970 cf and tried to overclock it. Guess thats explained the bsods:) how hurtful was the voltage regulation problems of an ocz for my mobo?
    Thanks guys )
Should I sell my mobo cpu?(i am definitely selling the psu)(already sold the gpus)
I fell like a douche should i feel that way?
MY GOD I did this to a x79 mobo with 3930k. Kill me now!!!!
