  1. well, honestly the trolls will never go away. All i want is a dedicated server option, but rockstar seems to shut down every project.
  2. Hi everyone, i recently switched my EVGA GTX 780 TI (Reference) to water, and im looking for a bios that unlocks the power and voltage control on the card. I checked out the Skynet bios, but it's kinda sketchy and doesn't have a read me file in it. does anyone know of other bios' that i can check out, or possibly get some links. Thanks in advance.
  3. i'd say add an 850 EVO to the build. Super reliable and great performance, worth the 15 pound delta imo
  4. Already tried that, its still locked up.
  5. Are you running at 144 Hz with that monitor? I've had issues when at the desktop at 144 Hz with Nvidia cards. Reason being, is that the card thinks, for some reason, it's in a workload with that many frames being pushed, and boosts core clock and RAM clocks. Maybe you could try and set the monitor to 120 Hz? You can do it in the Nvidia Control Panel > Change resolution.
  6. Hi everyone, i recently made the switch to 4K gaming with my new Asus PB287Q monitor, and it has been awesome except one thing. no matter if i overclock or not, the GPU runs at 548 MHZ. No matter what i do. It HAS run at 4K with an OC to 1200 MHz, but recently it crashed and has been stuck at near idle since. I personally think it's "locked up", or something similar. Do you guys have any suggestions to fix this issue?
  7. Yeah im looking for 17,3 or 15,6. But some gaming notebooks have REALLY crummy cells, as they are designed to be plugged in all the time.
  8. Just get a 4460, the difference between that and the 4690, is a clock-speed upgrade. since you won't OC, its not worth the extra dough (in most cases)
  9. Development, Marketing, shipping and resale. someone has to make a living of it
  10. Yeah, i wished it was available with a 980M...
  11. I know most Gaming laptops have crummy batteries, but compared to the last gen G751, its a smaller cell.
  12. Yeah i've been looking at MSI laptops, but always disissed them for having TN panels and being way more expensive in my location.
  13. Hi everyone, im looking for a new gaming laptop for gaming on the go. I need to carry a a laptop every day, so portability is a factor, but not a big one. Looking for something with a GTX 970M/980M and G-Sync, and a quad core Intel CPU. Right now, the Asus G752VY is on top of my list, but i heard it has pretty bad battery life. Any recommendations? Btw i live in Denmark so i need a Nordic keyboard. Razer Blade 14 is not on the list.
  14. If there's a promo for a 290/290X, go for that. pretty much the same card.
  15. Hi everyone, i am using my trusty ASUS N56JR for school (Mostly just using Word, not a ton of gaming on this laptop). Since upgrading to an SSD and Win 10, whenever i try to enter sleep mode, it just causes a hard shutdown. it's not optimal, as i now have to shut down the laptop several times a day now, i just want it to enter sleep mode whenever i close the lid. When i upgraded to the SSD, i did not clone the old OS, and just started from scratch. I have downloaded all the necessary drivers directly from ASUS. What do you guys think i should do in this situation??? Note: Since the SSD upgrade the CPU has been runnin' a lot hotter than usual, and the battery life is horrible (about 1 hour 30 mins light use). I personally think this is a driver issue, or a borked OS. Reinstall Windows??? Thanks in advance.
  16. I know the H440 is silent optimized, but does this make a noticeable difference? How about airflow? Thanks for your reply
  17. Hi i'm looking for a new case. In my country (Denmark) a 750D is only marginally more expensive than the H440 New Edition. Which case should i buy? Any other good alternatives (With a side panel window)? EDIT: The reason i'm considering the 750D is its Practicality and expandability ( 5.25 drive mounts etc)
  18. it's a cool laptop, but it's definitely a luxury item. The MSI GS70 for example, is way more affordable, and is still thin. But hardware wise the Blade is a fricking miracle, with its thin body and powerful internals. i would wait till the 2016 model comes out.
  19. GTX 780 Ti, 1 TB HDD, 500W PSU, 8 GB RAM, CM Elite 311
  20. I use my PC mainly for games like GTA V (1440P), CSGO (4K), and i might pick up BO3. I don't use my PC for any content creation at all.
  21. Hi, i just want to know the perf. difference between my current Intel Core i5-4460, and a Core i7-5820K, and is it worth the Motherboard swap, RAM and in my situation, a new PSU. EDIT: the reason im asking this question, is bcuz im getting a fair bit of stuttering in GTA V, and i thought the Core i5 might be a bottleneck in the system
  22. Hi guys, my PC is kinda loud, and i want to counter act that. Im looking at a NZXT H440 silent case, but would that help? I do have an Antec 120 mm fan in the side panel of my Cooler Master Elite 311, and my EVGA GTX 780 Ti (reference) is running at 100% fan speed bcuz of my overclock. if a case doesn't help much, what would? EDIT: Silencio 652 or 652S
