  1. It's not unlikely. He posted a picture of a slide from their presentation also linked. The iPhone 11, Pro, and SE2 all use the A13 chip while the 2020 iPad Pro is on the A12Z. They are also talking about their new macs running iPhone and iPad apps natively since they are on the same chips. So it's not really unlikely, it's exactly what they are doing.
  2. Linus should really check out the Cerny talk. But also this guy did a great break down of it and explains it in pretty simple terms and from a game developers perspective. Also i think i'm blind and don't see how to embed a youtube video so link below. The Cherno.
  3. Not sure what supply chain would have to do with this. This stream on Thursday was just about games on PS5 not the console release or price. All other reports are that the console is still on tract to release this Holiday, though with increased cost they may not be producing as many units and the PS4 launch. Good on them for postponing though.
  4. You can use something like Bria 5 or Skype. There's another one Zoiper that you can use for other SIP accounts.
  5. I think the fanboi-ism comes from exclusives, not so much the hardware itself. For me personally i've always preferred playstations first part games over xbox but, with PC and MS releasing just about all of their first part games on PC i'll be content with Pc+PS5.
  6. Comparison from Engadget. They seem very similar with XB a bit ahead.
  7. To be fair, Geforce Now isn't really a rental service, as you buy the games from their respective store fronts and actually own them if you log into the service on another PC, as much as one can own a digital good. You're paying Nvidia for their servers. Overall it seemed pretty good and a win for everyone, as the store fronts got to take in the money on the sale of the game, the person actually owns their copy, nvidia gets money for letting you use their servers. I have to assume though with Activision's recent deal to stream their esports through youtube that they worked out an exclusive deal with Stadia too. I suppose though could try and do their own streaming service but that doesn't really seem to be their usual M.O.. Till recently they weren't really interested in selling their games on BattleNet and were fine selling on Steam. They do love signing deals that make them more money though like CoD exclusives or timed exclusives to platforms.
  8. Reminds me of the Gigabyte Brix a bit. I also think the Xbox One X is capable or running some AAA games at 4K 30 but they are few and far between i think they are usually around 1440 and up scaled.
  9. Maybe not ideal but you can use Steam Big Picture and set big picture to launcher on your gaming monitor and any game you launch from there will be on your gaming monitor.
  10. AT&T was having some serious issues in Florida, parts of Georgia and, California yesterday. So that could have been apart of the issue.
  11. Title seems very misleading unless i can't read. They didn't really say what they were doing, if anything. “When it comes to monetizing the multiplayer Cyberpunk – we now think it is far too early to reveal any details. The project is at an early stage of development, and we are constantly experimenting – after all, this is our first game multiplayer, ” said Adam. That from twistedvoxel. So it's too early to say. So why is everyone else saying there is 100% mtx?
  12. Let me know how it goes. Also the app you'll be looking for is called Steam Link, there is a separate steam app for friends chat, buying stuff, and authentication.
  13. If you have an apple tv you can also stream to that as well. Not sure how well it will work but you could try the steam link mobile app (android/iOS) and cast or screen mirror to your TV.
  14. That was one dev and was not true. They issued a statement about that. Link
  15. I would say the difference is almost all streaming video services have a cost associated to them, lets say a barrier to entry. EGS is free, there is 0 cost to you to make an account with them and shop on the store. Maybe time but that would be spent at other stores as well so i don't consider it a factor in this case. So BL3 was going to cost $60 on Steam and will probably cost the exact same on EGS so really you're just pirating to pirate. Not because it's split over services you can't access without a cost.
