  1. I think this will be good, what do you think? http://pcpartpicker.com/list/GCMQVY
  2. My night curfew is here, so I cannot respond until tomorrow. I look forward to addressing your concerns.
  3. That CPU is bad, even for the money compared to Intel. Just look at the performance and value comparisons http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i3-6100-vs-AMD-FX-4350/3511vs2880 I promise I am not biased, neither are those benchmarks. Intel does have better performance for the high end, but that can't stop from the lower end Intel stuff still slaying AMD for the value. Here is a better approach: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/nFGM8K Heck, you can get the Define R5 and it would still cost less than the build you had. 1. CPU doesn't affect frame rates as directly as GPU does 2. AMD could be all you need, but an Intel build gives you WAY better performance for the money (only $20 more for %30 better performance, and the motherboard doesn't need to be that expensive) I hope I helped, this is what you should get. If you say otherwise, it is probably incorrect because I provided the right facts and gave you a (cheaper) build that both prove otherwise.
  4. Welcome to the forums! I'd assume the first post would be inquisitive for us to help you get familiar with the way we do things. But no, you somehow feel enough authority and coverage to make an account and just rant. I think ranting is against the guidelines. Obvious troll is obvious. Or you just seem like that idk Welcome to the forums!
  5. Find a price range that is suitable for you, and only get the features you need if your are low on a budget. Get a higher end one if you have more money and you wish to do more
  6. It depends on the CPU more, and you are well equipped. I think it would like more clockspeed, but you have so many cores/threads that it doesn't matter too much
  7. B series: Budget oriented H series: Mid range, more features (depends on motherboard) Z series: Overclock-able if you have the CPU for it Your choice is good. If you ever upgrade to a K series CPU, and want to overclock, you might want a Z series chipset now.
  8. Wow. Ok so I would tune down the overclock because of the noise and I would want to preserve my GPU to last (especially if it's a 1080, you are getting great performance already)
  9. Put filler in your case like newspaper so that the graphics card and heat sink don't move too much. Put everything in the box that your case came in. I have never done this, but I think this sounds adequate
  10. I posted the update for today! (6/25/16) Enjoy!
  11. Check your privilege /salt Welcome to the forums! I'd recommend changing the fan curve to be more aggressive in your OC software.
  12. Maybe do both? You would get good experience from the data processing center internship, it would help you land a future tech job
  13. Man, can he just use distilled water? It is better and less expensive
  14. No. I can barely run the title screen at 60 fps after waiting for a 30 second loading time I NEED MY NEW COMPUTER SOON EJRKEOUROSUOFHSPODH

  16. I don't think it's stupid Well, I think just above your monitor pointed at your mouth (Maybe a bit higher and farther away from yourself) would yield good results.
  17. I got it from my neighbor who upgraded. It's kinda sad as others might not be as lucky
  18. Liberator This is the title of my new PC that I will build. It is titled such because it is my first custom computer, and it will save me from my current prebuilt PC. 6/20/16 Over the course of a couple years, I have been saving a great amount of money. Between selling candy (it was boring), birthday and holiday gifts, and even taking ballroom dancing lessons for $100, I have saved $720 USD. About $500 will go towards new PC parts: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor $180 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H-A Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard $65 Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory $35 Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $90 Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case $50 Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $40 This will be all bought on Amazon. The pricing was being weird in PCPartPicker (Classic PCPP, you know?), so I didn't bother to include the exact prices or links. Sorry. I am still experimenting with a Skylake build, but it is TBD if I would build that system or this one with the parts listed above. I already have the graphics card, it is a GTX 670, and I got it for the low price of FREE. So I will buy this stuff soon, and I can't wait. Follow this topic if you want to join me for the ride! 6/25/16 Welp, I have never made a purchase this big before... I figured that a Skylake build on Amazon would only cost $3 more, so I chose to buy that. So I bought all of my parts for these prices off of Amazon: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 2.7GHz Quad-Core Processor (Purchased For $183.98) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (Purchased For $64.99) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory (Purchased For $31.99) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Purchased For $93.99) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card (Purchased For $0.00) Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case (Purchased For $49.98) Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (Purchased For $39.99) Total: $464.92 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-06-25 14:21 EDT-0400 Now it is just a waiting game for all of these parts to come... 7/6/16 My neighbor's garage burned and almost caught my house on fire yesterday. Yay... Several of my parts have arrived in the mail, with the rest coming tomorrow. My case (I never new how beautiful it would be) arrived on 6/27/16. My ram and flash drive came 7/5/16, I loaded the flash drive with a bootable windows install. I can't wait.

  20. This is what I was thinking. I am from the US, so I don't know if I got good deals, but here you go: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/TzQrxY
  21. Deep cycling is when you charge the battery full, and drain it completely. If you do this again and again over a long time, then you have deep cycled the battery. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=deep cycle definition
  22. IMO it might be overkill. I am no audiophile and can't recommend anything, but I think there must be something better for the price.
