ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 Will not boot to Windows
noahnoha posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
A friend of mine's computer is refusing to boot to Windows (Windows 10). I suspected something went wrong with windows (He wasn't sure, the computer hadnt worked in a long time), and I ended up factory restoring windows on my PC. I can boot to windows and everything works fine. Back to his machine, the bios detects the drive, I have it set to first in boot priority, and nothing. It just has the blinking line with nothing else on screen. I checked into updating the bios, but that is also up to date (V. 2001). The board is an ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 and the drive is a Corsair SSD. I have also tried every SATA port on the board. They all detect the drive but give me the same blank screen. Any Ideas? Thank you!-

I got an SSD a few months ago, and migrated my OS over to it. I moved all of my steam games off of that SSD and onto an different mass media drive. I still have a steam folder on the SSD in program files(x86), but it's only like 4mb or something like that. My SSD is now full, and when windows recommends I delete stuff, it says many of my old games are currently installed on the C drive (SSD), but when I click uninstall it tells me that it can't find the file. When I delete the game through steam (the game is installed on another drive), the game disappears off of the list, but the amount of disk space used doesnt go down. Any help? Thanks, Noah.

I got a new dji phantom 3 standard for Christmas. Because it's cold and rainy, I decided it would be a good idea to try it out in the garage. Everything was going well untill I let up a little too much and it bounced upside down into a very small puddle in the garage. Now, only one motor fires up. Any help? Thanks!

I'm looking at getting a new monitor, and since its coming to be cyber Monday, I thought it would be just as good time as any to start looking. I'm looking for a 27'' (doesn't need to be exactly 27", just an idea), 144hz, 1440p monitor that is good for the price. Curved would be an added bonus, but not an ideal. Does anyone have any good monitors that fit my needs for a reasonable price? ($400 ish, my budget isn't set in stone) Thanks! Noah

This is the coolest projector I have seen. How does one project from 4" away? Ask LG. Crazy cool.

I have a monitor that my neighbor gave me because he said it was broken. I've determined that the issue was that the ccfl lighting had gone bad, and I ordered a replacement part for it. When you put it all back together, you have to plug the original connectors into the new light. I need to know what each wire actually does. There are four. Pink, white, light blue, and black. The four function are ground, on/off, dim, and voltage. can anyone tell me which one of the wires does what? Thanks, Noah.

I have a Samsung 2494HM Monitor that my neighbor gave me because it had stopped working and be bought a new one. I have done some research and have come to believe it has blown some capacitors, I have the entire bezel popped off, but it looks like the area where you plug in the power and inputs is attached to the back. I don't know how to take the back successfully off, and I don't really want to risk totally breaking a potentially functioning monitor. If anyone could tell me how to take it off, that would be great. Thanks! (Pictures included)
