So I need an Android TV device where I will use an IPTV app for movies and live tv (I was using a roku but they'll soon ban private apps as well as some game streaming with the steam link or AMD link. The Chromecast with google tv looks like a good, affordable option and I was wondering if any of you know more about it. How is the gaming experience, any lags or stutters? And before you say buy a shield tv for gaming, unfortunately, it's out of my budget and I need a USB port which is only on the pro. I also considered buying the Chromecast for tv and building a steam link machine with a raspberry pi 4 which comes out to a little bit more than a Chromecast with the hub for the missing ports.

So I overclocked my ryzen 5 1400 to 3.65ghz but to keep it stable (Did a 12 hour stress test) I needed a voltage of 1.375V which is weird since I saw people having up to 3.8 GHz with that voltage and another having the same speed but with a voltage around 1.3 . Any reason as to why it's that high? Alright, I’ll try to plug my gpu in my friend’s pc tomorrow. Is there a way to fix my gpu if I improperly re-assembled it ? -
Black screen after a bad overclock, reset of CMOS did not work
Dimitrov67 replied to Dimitrov67's topic in Troubleshooting
I should try that because i read somewhere that when i reset the bios it changed the output to the cpu instead of the gpu and to change that i would need a cpu with integrated graphics. -
Black screen after a bad overclock, reset of CMOS did not work

lol nvm that was the wrong parts list i have a ryzen 5 1400 -
So I tried to overclock my ryzen 5 1400 but the voltage turned out to be too low so when I tried to turn it on I got a black screen. I then reset the CMOS by shorting the little pins which worked and the PC booted up. I then put an OC with higher voltage and then installed my new CPU cooler. I also changed the thermal paste on the GPU. I then tried to turn on my PC but I kept having a black screen which I guess means the voltage was still way too low. All the fans and the lights turned on but I kept having a black screen. I took the battery off for more than 5 hours and tried shorting the CMOS reset pins which still did not work. I also bought a new CMOS battery which still did not help. I hope I did not break anything:( PCPartPicker Part List: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/X23pxc CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM CPU Cooler ($54.99 @ Canada Computers) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AB350M-HD3 (rev. 1.0) Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($79.99 @ Canada Computers) Storage: Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (Purchased For $89.99) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (Purchased For $69.99) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 580 4 GB NITRO+ Video Card (Purchased For $260.00) Case: Corsair SPEC-01 ATX Mid Tower Case (Purchased For $34.00) Power Supply: Corsair CXM (2015) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply (Purchased For $34.00) Optical Drive: LG GH24NSC0 DVD/CD Writer (Purchased For $24.00) Monitor: LG 24MP59HT-P 23.8" 1920x1080 75 Hz Monitor (Purchased For $150.00)
