  1. I'm actually about to start working on it again just to recap i should tin the contact points on the module and add flux to my board ( Controller contact points completely missing )
  2. The 3 boxes i highlighted have no contact points some of the other don't either but those specific spots just don't wanna hold a thing also do you like put it on the actual module's tip
  3. Should i put it directly on the module??? Because i've tried to add some flux on the board maybe I didn't put it on properly
  4. So I've grown use to soldering Xbox controllers for friends to replace analogs that have issues or remove rumble motors/replace them but recently i was working on my own controller when i notice the solder wouldn't stick to the analog modules legs ( talking about the silver lines that stick out into the motherboard of the controller ) and i've been trying to get the soldering to stick but to no avail and I don't know whether i damaged my board or not. I tried multiple analog modules and i'm trying to use flux by putting it on a cotton swab and just rubbing it onto the point i solder. I'll leave images of the board at the moment with no module on it. Also the little silver squares i have no idea if it's ok if they come off or not but im assuming that's what is causing them not to stick
  5. Changed my Biostar TA970u3+ to asrock 970 extreme 3 and pretty much ever since then my audio has been mute the only audio that works is the hdmi. Things i've done to try to get my mic and headphones back up running: Update drivers Disable and change drivers Change drivers with different update versions Changed the default settings in my bios for the HD audio 3 times (Enable,Disable,Auto) Tried plugging it in literally all available ports on PC including the back and front Tested to see if it was the headphones and it works in other devices. Plugged just the headphone instead of using the little mic and headphone pieces still no audio Click here for image of how Realtek HD Audio Manager sees when literally nothing is plugged. ( thinks headphones are in ) What it looks like when plugged to the back. Says front and back panels are connected For some reason even when they're no cables plugged it still detects Center/Subwoofer Speaker out on the back panel.
  6. Just want the ability to play games at an enjoyable fps and make benchmarks for the card on youtube. May not be much but it's all i want to really do. Also one day Red team will be superior Long live Advance Micro Devices
  7. Do you know where i could find a port because i have no issue soldering and really dont feel like buying another used controller
  8. I've tried different cables im positive it's the port. They work fine on my friends controllers
  9. I just wanted to know if anyone has the issue with their xbox one controller where the usb Port doesn't work or barely works. I gotta update my controller but I can't just because of my USB port acting up.
  10. This is xbox one? And he has Xfinity
  11. Well a pal of mine has an issue where he constantly disconnects or can't connect while we prep for heist. And it's annoying i was just wondering if anyone could have an idea why or a solution. This doesn't happen to other games we play.
  12. Issue solved it self when i was posting this i was still windows 8 updated problem seem to fix itself only change i notice is it's on high other than that nothing im about to test on ultra though. tested on ultra and it's fine idk man And i disabled overlay
  13. ok ill try turning off the overlays and see how this goes
  14. Only BF4. it's strange also the FPS is unstable but then again the unstable FPS might just be because of the build. Also my guess the stuttering could be bcs of my HDD EDIT: If it's CPU got any recommendation BCS atm the mobo is AM3
