Actually, it hurts Epic's legal argument. Let me explain...

Epic, like all developers, essentially entered into a contract with Apple when it joined Apple's iOS App Store. Remember, in the law, a contract is a contract is a contract. When Epic put that extra payment option in Fortnight, and this is key here, it *willfully* violated that contract. Apple, in response to this violation, and again that fact that it was a *willful* violation is key here, then started to enforce the terms of the contract by fulfilling the consequences laid out in the terms of the contract. Remember, due to precedent, Apple basically has to enact the consequences of its terms because if it doesn't, it *may* lose its ability to due so in the future. (Basically, this precedent protects contractees from a company having a term in a contract it does not generally enforce, but suddenly decides to enforce, by allowing the contractee to argue that the company never intended said term to be enforced in such a way because company had never enforced it that way before when given the opportunity).

Simply put, the fact that Epic *willfully* violated the contract, and not Apple, means that this is a situation is entirely of Epic's own creation. (I might add, the fact they had a publicity campaign and a 60 page legal document prepared before hand really doesn't help them here). Since there is nothing stopping Epic from suing Apple for anti-trust, while adhering to its legal obligations under the contract with Apple, the courts will generally consider this is a self inflicted wound if you will. In almost all circumstances I am aware of, Courts have never allowed for injunctions to stop self inflicted wounds by the litigants. In fact, if anything, any company who stands to suffer harm due to Epic's breach of contract, including Apple, stands a decent (though not certain) chance of getting an injunction against Epic, forcing Epic to stop willfully violating its contract. Apple, in its own court response to Epic's injunction request, even said it would allow all of Epic's properties back on the App store, even during the entirety of the lawsuit, so long as Epic stopped willfully violating its legal obligations under the contract - thus giving Epic a perfect remedy to the situation. Because this situation is entirely of Epics own creation, and because Apple has offered Epic a perfect remedy, I give this injunction about a 5% chance of success - though no one knows for certain how any judge will rule.

It kinda seems like you didn't pay close attention while watching the video... (or maybe you didn't watch until the conclusion I guess, but then I'd be questioning why you're commenting on the video at all...)

Either way, here's our conclusion, word for word:

"So 7900X then? Great performance, and compared to Broadwell-E, GREAT price. Great release then, right? In a vacuum, yes, but.. the elephant that hasn’t yet entered the room is AMD’s Threadripper. Intel is faced with the disadvantage of having shot first with X299, and AMD has some time to tweak their upcoming “Threadripper” CPU lineup which it’s said will be available with up to 16 cores and SIXTY FOUR PCIe lanes.. so they COULD put the gears to Intel on pricing – at which time Intel – whose 12, 14, 16, and 18 core models will be arriving between August and Q4 this year – will have to figure how to respond, if at all!
… So you know what? I AM still frustrated that it took Intel this long to wake up.. and I DO still think this CPU lineup is unnecessarily confusing, but WHATEVER their motivation – AMD’s innovation or their unconditional love for enthusiasts – it’s true. This is a great release because we’re back to Intel and AMD playing leapfrog, and that’s just great!"

    So to address your points...

Linus said this was a great release
He said it would be a great release in a vacuum. AKA without Threadripper coming along in an unspecified amount of time, and without all of the garbage that they're doing with different "levels" of X299 chips (which is fully explained in the Taipei video that was referenced early in the Core i9 review - it would be a waste of everyone's time to simply reiterate points we've already made when we can simply reference to another video on our channel. Referencing other videos for further information is something we do all the time).

for those rocking Broadwell-E's you should definitely consider an upgrade
We don't even come CLOSE to saying that. What we did say is that the 7900X provides a better value than Broadwell-E did at its ridiculous $1,700 pricepoint... "... and compared to Broadwell-E, GREAT price" is the closest line I can find to what you're claiming here. That's true - $1,000 for a 10-Core CPU is a better value than $1,700 for a 10-Core CPU.

don't mind AMD releasing Threadripper with 64 pcie lanes
The 64 PCIe lanes on Threadripper were referenced directly in the conclusion. Epyc is a server chip, so it wouldn't make a ton of sense to compare a 7900X to Epyc.

Tl;dr watching or reading reviews and other content online with a certain level of doubt is a fantastic practice, and I encourage you to read/watch multiple sources (and do your own independent research if possible) before forming an opinion on anything. But when you're making claims about how we're essentially paid shills for Intel, at least make sure your claims are actually backed up by fact before you attempt to make them.

For 'Grandma Friendly' Kodi is probably too complicated and feature rich for this situation.  A novice user could easily muck up settings in the GUI and create big problems.  This is a job for something, er, simpler.  The discontinued Western Digital WDTV would be a good example of something more suitable.

I think you're looking at this from a wrong angle. It has a tremendous purpose. The touch bar (luckily) doesn't have specific locked set of "keys" that are the same for every program, you can customize it for every app differently. If you use MKB or touchscreen, you still have to use some functions which might need 2, 3 or even more clicks, and this way you can just use an instant shortcut. Have a different set of shortcuts for Word, Excel, Power Point, you name, it is quite convenient. Don't like that and you want the traditional F keys? You can use all of those. I would much rather have for instance volume slider, brightness control and audio control instantly than use fn+F11/F12 every time, and for that I need 2 hands. That is just one example.
I'd rather also touch that bar than my screen which I'm super sensitive for. But in reality, those 2 cannot be compared, this was just an example of purpose that Touch Bar has.
