Please do a secret shopper with multiple Apple products. I am thinking one of each product, probably ordered online. OR going to different retailers and see what they say like a ipad from bestbuy and macbook from apple store. And then dealing with the repair aspect will be the last few videos.

I feel AR has potential to be everywhere. Advertisers will latch on as soon as it is in a product that can do same functions as smartphones without being intrusive. And I think the major percentage of VR players will be ones that can completely untether themselves, lay down on a bed and be in a game, maybe move things with their mind. Then we will have reached a point where the escapism is real and relaxed. I would have hoped VR to awaken arcades but there is so much overhead at this time that it doesn't seem like it is catching on to the extent people would like. But maybe full on simulations can be personalized and developed like they were shows in Vegas.

You covered topics that are very important to modern discussions about the internet. I really hope you can pursue spreading more information regarding them in different videos that are more accessible such as TQ. Discussions about the what can happen with data security, what kind of laws are there protecting people and what steps should be made because facilities now were not thought of before. And for the online purchasing, just more knowledge about how infrastructure works online and the different steps every provider in the chain (Google, Payment, Content Maker) go through. Your experience with developing FloatPlane and insight into this world is content I am very keen on seeing. I am sort of sad that we have not gotten regular video content about the FP development.

BLOW THE BUDGET!! WOOOO!!! Edit: Convention being open overnight feels like hackathons now. Have you considered having like a 24hr hackathon? Also how will security be handled and who can leave/enter? Is there going to be a cameraman staying up as late as possible to catch the vibes then? Will there be more videos in general than last year? Edit: Regarding the Intel 10nm discussion. Yeah, the performance increase might stop for a time. That is why there is ongoing research into other elements but the research I think that will prove useful more recently is FPGA design integration. Intel bought FPGA company Altera a while ago. My profs never stopped talking about it. And one thing that was made evident was HOW hardware tech works faster than anything software can come up with. So imagine a CPU that didn't need so many dedicated hardware implementations like x264 encoding. There is x265 now and 5-10 years later something else. A new HDMI spec will come out. So imagine having multiple small FPGA chips that can on the fly change into whatever spec you need. The CPU would need fast communication and the FPGA implementation would need to be worked on. But imagine a phone that can upgrade its hardware like it was a software update. This could theoretically increase performance a significant amount provided a ton of factors are resolved and lets not even get into standardizing it all. But that is where my profs said we are headed. I have to agree with them seeing how far away silicons replacement could possibly be. Right now AMD is playing the more core more power game. Which is awesome. Some of that communication advancement could transfer over to FPGA work, maybe. But Intel has tons of other research that hasn't been known to public. And while I agree AMD in next 2-3 years is going to be huge, Intel has options lined up even if 10nm doesn't work out. It's just a matter of what comes to consumers first at that point, which hopefully is in the next 5 years so I can get a job in it.

I agree with your sentiment but can you make your videos easier to search for? Like more information in description. I never cared for the titles, I just want to find a video from a year ago through search terms rather than scrolling through for hours.

I ran into an issue with that. Couldn't install the regular control package. Only got the client installed. The control kept giving error about not having python-gnome and other stuff not installed. But I couldn't find it to install it.

Thanks for helping many of the people here. I have the FAH client installed in a Linux Mint VM on unraid. I tried getting the GPU to work all day but couldn't get it recognized by the client, at least the web viewer didn't show the GPU. It is a 970 that I have assigned to the Mint VM. The hardware settings shows the 970 and got the latest 410 drivers installed. But still nothing on the FAH.

Installed on my gaming rig for now. Having some difficulties installing on unraid VM.

Which of the three files do I use to setup FAH? client, control or viewer?

Is there a way to setup folding for UnRAID?

Like how News shows have a recap segment that covers things super fast. I like this idea. I would also prefer a separate video that consisted of rants from older WAN shows. Your idea would be great to do from now on, but there are so many golden segments from previous WAN shows that it would be a shame to not show them again.

WAN show is great and I enjoy the rants. But if you want your rants to be heard they should probably get their own video since only a portion of your subs watches the WAN show. You should have one of the writers just go through WAN show for rants and create a new series based on them. WAN has become and always was a show about the hosts weekly experiences and rants about stuff from years ago. It just so happens you have had more stuff on your plates since before and so more stuff to talk about. WAN show should be longer and there should be a 3rd host at least as a chat mod.

I enjoy the WAN a lot, it has great humor and personality. But there is always so many missed stories. The smart mirrors and Apple v Australia Encryption stuff would have been great talking points. I really think you need a 3rd person for chat watch and to make the show longer. There was too much time spent being distracted by the chat this ep.

When I am using Google Maps on my phone I have to leave the device on the entire time otherwise if I put the phone to sleep/turn screen off the GPS loses signal and does not respond anymore. I have the S9+ Black SM-G965U1. I wanted the black one with lots of storage so I got the US one and am currently using in Canada. I wouldn't think that would be an issue since my previous Nexus 6P international edition seemed to work just fine. I either need to know how to allow Maps to run in background or if there is a setting that is turning everything off and select Maps as an exception. I hope it is as simple as that. Appreciate the help.

I remember there have been a handful of Canadian companies that LMG has done videos with. I was wondering if anyone has a list of them since it is so hard to find them with the weird titles all the videos have. Stuff like Kron Tech and that reactor place.
