Skylake does support DDR3, Gigabyte have the motherboard that supports DDR3

The PSU is overpriced. Get EVGA G2/GS or Seasonic. Those are some good price PSU.

You don't need the thermal compound, the AIO cooler will have pre-applied thermal compound
