Kinda regret my current main monitor choice. It's a nice 27" 144Hz 1440p panel...but its TN and the colors just aren't there. 

 

I'd like a 4K IPS panel but the cost of a high refresh rate one is just too damn high. Though 60hz is not the end of the world for crispy image quality.

    I'd personally never go back to gaming not on a ultrawide.

    The only problem with ultra wides imo is that I lose desktop separation. I have 3 displays and the other 2 displays let me do everything without having to alt tab. Don't think I could go back to a single display or even 2 displays.

    3440x1440 100hz is a good sweet spot for me. 

    Us it as your main and keep the other 2 displays.

    my main display is a TN, but it's got rather lovely colors. it's a Benq V2400W, and it's ancient. but that means that the color temperature is very warm, that's what i always love about old LCD's. i have a modern LED monitor next to it and it is a lot colder with it's colors and it looks lifeless. the warm color temp of my main screen is meh for web browsing because it makes things look yellow, but for watching content it is lovely.

    1080@120hz is where I'd stay for a long time. Especially with 3 or 4 of them.
