I wonder why there are so many people who claim to have issues with Navi cards. I plugged in my RX 5700 and installed the drivers without much of any issues. I've never had a game crash, driver crash, or any performance issues. Wouldn't be surprised if the problems these people are having are from issues with Windows 10.

    First off, "claim"

     

    We aren't seeing baseless claims, more along the lines of assertions of fact paired with evidence - usually a damning set of benchmarks within the same suite with saved results and a quantifiable, percentage based difference

     

    Secondly, apple makes their own drivers (allegedly modified versions of stable drivers) for AMD, no?  So they would be able to avoid these issues by not rolling out the update that cripples navi and Vega GPUs

     

    That isn't mac OS being more stable, it's literally just using an outdated but far superior driver version.

    I brought up macOS 0 times. I also love how you assume I’m using my 5700 with a Mac.

    Same here.. No issues since 1st day use.. Happy frame rates all day..

    I had bad times with AMD drivers in the past as well.  Frontier Vega 64 was a joke...

     

    I'd love for AMD to have a product line that competes with NV, but they need to work on the software side as well as the hardware.

     

    INB4 "NVIDIA SUCKS TOO!!!1!!1!!" starts....
