My Dad is now a member of the iOS Gang ?

 

He shattered his previous phone (an LG Stylo 5) at work. His previous network was MetroPCS. However Boost Mobile was having a promo for switching where you could get a free phone (which just so happened to be the LG Stylo 6). Turns out that once he went into a Boost location they had the option to pick a second hand iPhone 7 for $20. 
 

It’s a space gray 32GB and the body seems to be in decent condition. The battery is only at like 87% capacity but I can always replace it for him if it starts battery throttling.

    7 is a solid phone, especially at $20.

    My 7 is at 80% capacity, and it's not throttled yet so your dad is good for a while.

    Yeah. My only concern is that the iPhone 7 doesn’t have a lot of battery life to begin with, so losing 13% of it might be pretty noticeable. 
     

    I usually replace my battery once it drops below 80%.

    i don't really notice it but i'm without a charger for maybe a few hours at most at one time. and even then i have a powerbank...
