Apparently the influence of Trump has made it so that when a left-winger quotes the 4th Amendment they don't know what they are talking about....but when a right-winger quotes the 2nd Amendment I'm just supposed to not acknowledge that they are leaving a crucial part of it out....

Theres not a ton to leave out. Its 27 words... "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

They always leave out that first part and just quote " the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"

Completely ignoring the regulation and the malitia.

It's like they think gun licenses aren't regulation protected by the 2A.

We should dissolve the military and move to militia as we restructure ourselves.

@DrMacintosh The issue is the aging of the word militia that has brought the 2nd amendment in to so much strife. If we go off the definition as it was interpreted at the time then anybody with a weapon can form a militia for the defense of their homestead.

The question becomes in the age of a militarized police force, do we need to organize a militia to defend our homestead.
