You Could save even more if you got an iPhone 8 Plus or the iPhone XR. Not only do you get two separate devices, each is also significantly more effective at its role than the Galaxy Fold is.....

    The Galaxy S10+ with 1TB storage (which is more storage than the Galaxy Fold and also probably more storage than you'll ever need on a phone) is $1600. Still less than the Galaxy Fold and also probably a billion times more durable.

    Could also buy any mid range Android phone and an iPad mini and save about a thousand dollars that way if money was truly concerning. Or better yet, getting a used phone that’s a couple years old.
