The fact that I outsmarted Apple Support (a Senior Tech at that) makes me so happy.

    Wtf are you on about kid don't you know the apple genius bar guys are smarter than most of us PC peasents.

    They're called an apple GENIUS for a reason... You know they could've used the term what every body else uses but the extra ego boost for the CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION brings the stock up

    While not I've never been to a "Genious" bar I've been to the local Easy-M and Switch Apple retailers.

    I buy what I get from Apple directly from them, issue's I have go through those retailers. (It is neat that this is possible)

    Some of them are real Grade A Idiots others are better :) (Not good,better)

    I've been in a Apple refurb store "out of intrest" *Wink* *Wink*

    Started asked one of the employees why a 2007 iMac costed € 350 he replied with

     

    "The machines are still very capable"

    It was a base config, 1GB of RAM, Standard HDD.

    "Capable"

    I now managed to get a "broken" 2007 iMac by luck for € 100

    After checking it contains a 1TB WD RED & 4GB's of RAM.

    Not great, but the HDD is worth more then 50% of the device ;) (€ 70)

    Lets just say a junkyard is a wonderful place
