i dont see why its so hard to walk and then stop or get to your destination before using your phone, you can check it but dont stare it and ignore everything else while your walking 

i've been ran into so many times by people not looking. next ones getting their phone smashed.

I don't see why its so hard for governments to tell you what you can and cannot do with yourself. If I want to ride a bike without a helmet I can, but apparently walking while holding my phone might get me fined.......SURE THAT MAKES SENSE

You break my phone, I kick your ass. Or at least try. We would both charge each other for assault but my side would always win because you stepped out of line by destroying someone else's property.  

if i were you I would never try to fight anyone, especially a person who just smashed your phone, if their crazy enough to do that who knows waht they will do, maybe they carry a knife around so if they start to lose they fight they can stab you once and only once and it will still be self defence if you run away after you stab them.

smashing a phone does not justify assault. so with a good lawyer you can get off with stabbing someone once to get away. 

or maybe some people are looking for a reason to hurt others and want to provoke them so they can do what voiced tell them to do.

but if you are impolite enough to not pay attention and walk into someone you might deserve all you get. 

different walks of life have different ways of thinking. never escalate a situation.

im a writer so it means i have to make charterers, go in their minds create their life and all that. even down to details as their favorite color when they were in third grade even in their favorite color is different when they are 20 and the reasons why in the story. also why I can go a bit overboard on case scenarios I start thinking of a whole story based on on situations, its how my best works are created.

it was to make you think. you never know what goes in people's head and people who do things out of the ordinary and never the people you escalate situations with.

but then again yes people can just get fed up and act on impulse like smashing a phone. I only would if i was pissed off all day and that tipped off.

I think that's overstepping juuust a little bit. Yet I can see where their thinking is coming from. Protect the pubic from itself, because it's largely too stupid to do it on it's own. I've almost been walked into tons. I just stop. If they walk into me, they're going down, and it's their own fault. The look of shock when you loudly say "snap front" right before they hit you is pretty comical as well

I see the reasoning and I suppose but seriously that the basis of their law, I could take this to court and tear it down just on the fact that the reasoning has no bearing for making the law......

One question do I get fined for glancing or do I have a certain time limit before I get fined? ... still just wow. 

Have to agree on both points but I side with her more it is another "big brother" move that is unnecessary. More big gov is not the answer. This is a slippery slop.....
