I had a problem that sounds similar I had a bent CPU pin and although my PC did not turn on it could be a diffrent pin for you i would take the CPU out of its socket and check. -

I had the same problem or something similar I sent my power-supply back and replaced and it worked. Just to check does the PC spin up for half a second or so then shut back down?

Is the Pentium the bottleneck?

4 at peak usually only 1 or 2. Main use for storage photos, videos, documents ,music and streaming ripped DVD and Blu-Rays.

Hello I'm interested in creating a NAS using FreeNAS and was wondering if this setup would work. Motherboard: Asus P8B-X : As it is respectivly cheap and supports ECC CPU: Intel Pentium® Processor G2030 : Its chap supports ECC for what I have read and is low power RAM: Kingston 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1333: Is ECC and 8GB. HDD: 2X Seagate Barracuda 2TB Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite Case PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX I think this will work and are there any suggestions that may add to the build. Thanks Joe

Not everyone has time to watch 4 WAN shows a month and some people like to read. Linus and Co may not be-able to cover everything as well. But its just an idea and a community project that the forum could work on.

Hello, I have two question but for the same project. The first is is there a switch that has just one CAT6a port for 10 GB/S speeds but all the rest just normal GB/S. Also is there a correct way to run underground Ethernet. This is for an outdoor office and so the CAT6a 100M capabilities are required. Thank-You.

Hello I have got a new motherboard for Christmas and I am getting mulipul errors the error 99 comes on and the VAG light stays on and also the boot light there is no output to the screen. The motherboard is an ausu hero 6

Hello my screen has just started to have lines running through it it's not the GPU because on board graphics has the same problem it is also not the cable or the monitor so could it be my cpu or mobo thanks Joe

I had the same budget and found a great case on ebay for half the retail price never used its a great place to find cases look on amazon and if you see one you like have a look on ebay for the same case
