    I got my iPhone 8 Plus for $450 after trade in of my 6s Plus. I bet the 8 Plus performs better. (teehee)

    Not that much though. After living with a midrange phone for months, I've felt that I didn't really need crazy performance

    Well yeah. Apple SoCs are notorious for not being used for essentially anything. Their low power cores are almost always the ones being used. The benefits come later down the line as the phone ages and the software changes and gets more demanding. Though storage quality and RAM probably has a bigger impact on Android devices than having a faster CPU.

    That one has 8GB of the stuff, which is already overkill for me. 

     

    Don't even ask about the 12GB on the Note10+.....

    Meanwhile most iPhones are sitting pretty with 3GBs (sans the Xs Max which has 4GB). Thanks iOS.
