This sounds like he is on a laptop, I would try directly plugging an Ethernet cable from your router to your computer to see if this would allow an internet connection while booting into "Safe Mode". Edit1: brb sleep
-
OK, tell me if my understanding is correct. Need internet connection to sign into computer because he is using Microsoft Account, can't use microsoft account because he doesn't know the password, can't use internet connection because stuck in safe mode? Could he use alternate computer (Whatever he is using to post thread) to go to Microsoft's site and do a forget password option, and have reset link emailed to email account? Is he able to get into any account at all? Or stuck at log in screen? Edit 1: I know in Win7 there are 3rd party programs you cand download and put on a USB Drive, that when you change BIOS settings to boot from USB, you can wipe the Registry Entry for the Admin's password. I don't know if this will work on Win10, it may have to have been a local (non-microsoft) account, and even then I don't know if the program is compatible with Win10. Just a thought.

Needs admin password to get elevated cmd, thus null. Needs admin password to create admin acc, thus null. Not sure if there is another acc for him to get into to, to even access the desktop or cmd. >mfw >Using Windows >Using Windows 10 >Using picture for admin access >Forgetting password >Not having a backup >Not having password written down somewhere >Not letting your mom have the admin acc

Are you able to get into any account? Or was that the only account on the computer? Was that account a local account or a microsoft account? Are you able to get to the Desktop?

I want to thank everyone in this thread for helping me tonight! But it is getting late and I need atleast a few hours of sleep before I head off to work. I'll be back tomorrow.

Say I was looking for something slightlly more "insane", with similar sound quality. What would come to mind? I don't suppose Shure has any extra serious earpads for the 1540s for sale? or any 3rd party ones?

One of the biggest points in headphones I am looking for is the isolation. I see these are closed-back, but how is the cushoning around the ear, how well did they seem to keep outside noise out? If two people were having a conversation 5 feet away, would you be able to put these headphones on and still understand what they were saying?

I read the Amazon link's Description with "Custom Sound Slider to change the sound anytime (closed, semi open, open design)" and the thing that comes to mind is "A jack of all trades is a master of none". When the only thing I would use is closed, I would hope for the best. I know I am being picky but it is the only one I would use.

What would you grade the SRH1540s? Edit: Just read your other reply, from what you have heard of the SRH1540s, what would you rate them. You are the 3rd person to say something positive about them, and right now they seem to be the ones I am most interested in next to some others that SSL recommended.

Thank you for the detailed PM, I like how you list the drawbacks with each as well. You were the 2nd person to recomend the Shure's, besides the price do you know of any drawbacks on them? Between the noise-cancellation of the Bose, and the large amount of padding on the HP50s, which would you believe has the better isolation, or the most ability to remove yourself from the nearby noise?

Lol in this particular situation I am looking for quality over quantity Their selection of closed-back, wired, isolating headphones was minimal, and the ones that sounded decent was even lower unfortunetlly.

The m50s I listened to in person were very flat. The wireless is not for me. The DT 880's I do not know too much about. I try not to always associate price with quality but I have some more to spare. Do they have better headphones, that you would recommend?
