No point in getting the i7 4790 with a Z97 motherboard. What you want is the Xeon 1231 v3 and a H97 instead.

The R9 380 would be the better choice unless you'll be utilising CUDA which I doubt. The R9 390 (or GTX 970, depending on which is cheaper) would be a great choice if it's within your budget.

The PSU isn't the best, try to go for the EVGA SuperNOVA 550W G2.

Minecraft: weird controls and cut down functionality.
Sims(every version): Cut down functionality(no 3rd party content)
GTA V 360/PS3: removed content and severely cutdown graphics
Just Cause 3: Hardware cant handle the game.

I would do one of a few things...
the 5960x would help me to become much better at content creation (I am a small time youtuber). I could use that processing power to help me to better edit my videos...
in the time that I am not rendering things I would donate the spare power to boink as that works well with cpu's and the gpu power to folding@home, as the have make some very good advancements in the medicinal world (from memory over 100 papers have been released).
the hard drives I would used as a nas (most likely using home-group) to store all of our important family documents.

I take back what I have said...
yes I am a senior highschool student.
and of course I am always open to learning, infact I love nothing more, so if you guys were willing to teach me a few things I would be most apreciative.
now please take this in the lightest way possible, but people do underestimate me... I have been kind of taken under the wind of our school IT, who have shown me how all of the servers work (in our specific situation) and so to an extent I do understand more than the average pc gamer that has build his own rig...
also, not that as a 15 year old, I have my own server (not rack mounted... but hey, its more than can be said for the average 15 year old...).
I would love to have a good chat with you and kujoe, shall we pm?
