    w3690 (i7 990x) max voltage Hia all, I know its an old cpu and one likely long forgotten but I was wondering if anyone knows the max safe voltage. currently im at 1.4 and temp wise have plenty of headroom. I have read online all sorts of max voltages but no real deffinitive max daily voltage. thanks in advance

    Hi allI have a 860 cos im broke but the thing is under a custom loop. I really want to get it to 4.2, and I can... but 1.4325v is required. my temps stay in the 60s (it has a full loop for itself inc a 240mm rad, xspc block and a thermaltake pump). I'm very happy with these temps just not sure how high the voltage can be before I'm reducing the lifespan of this cpu rapidly (due to parents not liking me spending heaps on pc parts).

    hey man.so after more testing I have got the system back to being stable with the 290x only. when I add the 6990 and do as you ahve suggested it says that the driver is up to date even though there is none installed. ideas? cheers for your help thus far
