k... sounds good. I think because its a gigaherz edition, that makes it about equivalent to a 270x, so maybe even more

got given it yesterday at a lan.. guy said it was artifacting (it was badly) droped the factory overclock back to the standard ghz and it works fine... passed valley benchmark no probs without a single artifact... what points per day can I expect? (im going to assume more than my 660 ti)

its old... really old so chance of rma is next to zero thanks to all who followed this saga... droped the factory overclock (so back to being a standard gigahertz edition) and it works just fine, have had no issues and it passed valley benchmark

something else is strange aswell... the gpu is spiking when im not doing anything up to 93% for like less than a second

no problems with my 660 ti tho... or my cpu

I have..... the gpu core voltage reading is like going over the moon....

any ideas for a fix???

up to 1.49v on vddc and down to -65

used valley, the temps were under 70 the whole time.... but it crashed half way through...

nope... it has lived a easy life being used once every month in a lan rig

3 120mm in an antec 300. thats not the issue... has been dusted just now and had new thermal paste...

done... still having the same issue.... but it should be able to handle its own clocks/voltages that it came stock with

so today I was at a lan and a guy gave me his old 7870 which he sayed had issues with artifacting. I ran fur mark and it ran, the card overheated and it crashed. I just replaced the thermal paste with some halziye stuff. it is >3.05w/m-k same issue, card gets hot and it crashes. all voltages are at stock with stock clocks and for reference it is the saphire overclocked eddition. fans are at 90 to 100 percent... any ideas??? note: if I drop the clocks right back to like 800 core, 800 mem it works fine and passed a 20 min stress test

he uses a proper ddos attack. his limit is 125gbps
