  1. I'm really sorry for opening this, I am incredibly stupid. Turns out there's an audio slider on the headset itself.
  2. I just got a new ASUS Vulcan ANC headset, and I turned the volume on my computer up to the maximum, but the volume is still not that loud. Is there anything I can do about this (like a sound volume booster or something else)?
  3. Okay, thanks guys!
  4. Well, I have an internal 2TB HDD, so if I get this right: I need to get me one of those programs and clone the SSD to the HDD, and can I then clone it back to the new SSD? And is Windows usable on the HDD in the meantime? Oh and does that backup utility included in Windows also back up Windows itself (not just documents & files etc.)?
  5. I think I'll need to send it back first but maybe I can bitch my way out of it (it is a local company, I think it will trust me). But in case I do need to send my old one back first, what should I do then?
  6. Some company gave me a wrong SSD, but I already installed Win 7 on that, and I have also already activated the product key. Now, the company is giving me a new SSD but I need to return the old one, so how do I put my Windows on the new SSD? I still have the Win 7 DVD so I can install it on the SSD, but I have activated the code on the old one, so should I transfer my Windows from my old SSD to the new one or should I just reinstall Windows with the DVD, and use the same code (or is there another solution)? I'm sorry if this is a bit unclear if there is something you don't understand just say it. Thanks in advance, Nils
  7. I have installed all the optional updates, still nothing. By the way, I don't know if this changes anything: the subwoofer does work.
  8. How do I turn up the volume on my integrated sound? What drivers do I need to install?
  9. Hi, I just attached my speakers to my new rig but they don't produce any sound at all. It's a 5.1 speaker system, specificcaly the Creative Inspire T6160. I'm not using a sound card but just the onboard sound, my motherboard is an ASUS Z87-Pro, I believe it has Realtek ALC 1150. Do I still need to configure/turn on the speakers somewhere in Windows (7)? This is my first time using speakers as I always worked on laptops, so I have no idea.
  10. Well, turns out I just got screwed over by the vendor. Basically I got a 128GB SSD, while I ordered and payed for a 256GB SSD. So no data on the SSD, I just got a lower capacity SSD. Heads will roll.
  11. Wait, right now I just clicked "install Windows", then selected custom install, now it asks me where to install Windows. I clicked the SSD, and then selected advanced options, and now I see "formatting" but the option is grey and I can't click it. So, what to do now?
  12. Thanks for the quick and clear replies guys!
  13. OK, so then the only thing on the drive would be the NEW Windows files?
  14. Hi, I just built my new computer, and I got an SSD in it that I bought on an auction (it was used as a demo product for a reviewer). Now, I think that SSD still has files on it (my bios told me it had 115000MB free, while it is a 256GB SSD. So, how do I empty the SSD? I still need to install windows on that new PC, but I don't know if that is safe while there are still files on my SSD.
  15. Whoa, first the new 780 and 770, then that other giveaway, now this one, and in a couple of days Haswell! Awesome month!
