  1. Unfortunetly there is no online manual for it, and I dont have a paper one either.. might be possible to go to the store and get one though..
  2. Didnt feel like adding gain made up for taking away the +10, Ill try again tommorow. The Low Power mode just puts a volume limit at 25 instead of 35, Ive never went past 25 anyways cause it was loud enough (before sub), just put the limit so I dont risk poping them. Ill try setting everything on the stereo unit to 0 and increase the gain and see, didnt like how it sounded when I tried before but maybe I did something wrong. How do I set those frequencies properly? Ive tried reading up on it, but dont really get any wiser by doing so.. Picture is my AMP and all its settings.
  3. Actually havent had it shut down on me lately, it started clipping or something (videos in drive folder previously linked) so I havent dared to play it loud enough. Decreased the gain so it wont make that sound on full 25 volume now..
  4. 600W at 1, 450W at 2, 250W at 4. Mono AMP. Friend wired it, pretty sure its just one from + to + and one from - to -, AMP to SUB. Sub isnt sold anymore so not sure, but I think its 2x2Ohms. AMP: https://www.brl.se/sv/artiklar/gas-pro-6001.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwqYfWBRDPARIsABjQRYwoqRpUSXyUXp47PLbGDWHswmY7oPsEP-d9Obni7WxFHjxa4IXTMhUaAnX1EALw_wcB
  5. Ive tried looking through, found some settings, went into the car and looked, but im not sure what does what and what the settings should be really... I can try to tell you what I have seen Subwoofer Set: ON SUB.W Level: Pre-Out +10 (so quiet otherwise) AMP Gain: Low Power (bad car speakers) Loudness on 2 Bass Boost +3 X over: Havent touched dont know what it does. But guess 2-way is the one active Setting from lineout: REAR/SUB.W Found some Subwoofer LPF far into the settings set to "THROUGH" All I know.
  6. I have gone through it a few times aswell as settings on the unit, havent found any but back then I didnt know what I was looking for either so Ill look later.
  7. Its in a Rear Subwoofer output on this headunit JVC KD-X34BT. I dont know of there is any LPF on it, I think there is on the AMP (see drive folder I linked a few posts ago) I guess then Ill set the gain to the type of music I mostly listen to, which is not bass boosted
  8. I dont know, I only know what they have said. I know tho that the AMP is connected to a bass output connection. For some reason it sounds like the bass is bottoming out now, never heard it before at the same settings.. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1duIAAO_4yUivmjj1K1e6--7bH9g07z6X I have now done som further reading on how to set the gain so I will try and get that set up right asap. Did some testing, gain was pretty good where it was, but lowered it slightly to avoid the clipping sound, but the thing is, its only on bass boosted songs, so it clips on those, but not on the regular songs, so now when im safe on bass boosted, the normal ones are much lower.. Is there a way to have it work for all type of songs?
  9. Gain is at like 11 o'clock if I remember correctly, shop said 1 was a good setting, and they tested it at 3..
  10. I wouldnt say so no, it just goes as normal for a few seconds when I turn up the volume sounding normal and then it just goes into protect.. And after that I hear my dying original 91 Volvo speakers sounding like shit until I restart the car. Though today it did sound like the bass was bottoming out, never heard it do that before at the same volume but this time it sounded like someone was sitting and hitting plastic or something. Might be because of it being cold when I was testing if I had voltage drops, cause I cant remember hearing it do that later during the day when I had been using it for a while before I cranked up the volume..
  11. How do I know if the big one is faulty?
  12. Not a combo really, just the shop pairing up subs and amps that works well together. They pair all different kinds of combinations for different prices. https://www.brl.se/sv/artiklar/ljud-och-bild-i-bil/index.html
  13. Fuses are good, wired correctly, havent measured the ground so dont know how good it is. They are sold in a package for full compability, so that shouldnt be an issue. Might take it all the the shop though and talk to them and see what they think..
  14. I have problem with my AMP, it goes into protect when I turn up the volume and it bothers me. I got it for dirt cheap from a friend, single 12" with a 600W mono AMP, he had the same issue when he had it, but when he had it at the audio shop he bought it from they said they had no problems and coud turn up the gain really high (I was with him so I heard them say this). But when we wired it into my car the issues came back and I dont know what does this.. is it the battery being bad, the alternator not giving enough juice, a bad ground, lack of capacitor, any ideas? Its really bothering me, shop said the amp was tuned to the perfect settings already so that should be fine.. It's only Hideho that kills it so far at 20 volume, nothing else, and I guess its fine since I dont really play these bass boosted songs but I want it to work anyways..
  15. Voicemeeter pretty much let you take hardware or virtual inputs, like your PC audio, mic, voip, etc and then you can choose where to output them, and that gives you the option to output both to headset and HDMI. I have Voicemeeter Banana, I have my mic and ps4 as hardware inputs, and pc audio and discord as virtual inputs. Then I have two hardware outputs, my headset and my tv, and two virtual outputs, one for my mic (choose the output as input in discord) and then another output where I have my mic and discord, I then put that output as mic input in Shadowplay and two record two audio tracks so I can have my mic and my friends talking but then mute everything but the game in post production.
