    Mine's just under 1 year old and like perplex above, I've found mine to be good h/ware wise but awful software wise.

    It can hang, freezing the RGB cycling, making me look like a noooooooooooob

    Some of the earlier CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) updates didn't update at all ...however that was early on in the piece and things seems much improved now.

    Depends. Do you have 16GB now? and if so is it mostly all being used?

    Mine was, which is why I went from 16 to 32.

    I can confirm this hotfix driver doesn't fix this issue in my case (no pun intended)

    I'm unable to increase Mem Clock in MSI AB unless i am running something like 3d Mark at the time. I believe this to be a known problem with not just MSI's AB but PrecisionX etc.

    Folding, the mem clock runs @ 3304Mhz

    3DMark it's near on 3900Mhz  (with +400 in AB)

    Guess they've no way of telling, or didn't have the time/energy to investigate the card.  One of the IC's had a plume of smoke coming from it, and you could tell at a glance that it was fried.

    Perhaps it wasn't from over volting, it's only my gut feeling.

    Either way I am glad they replaced it  (Gigabyte)

    I had this issue with MSI AB 4.1.0 with my TitanX...and the work around was to edit the hardware config file

    Step 1: Locate the file 'profiles .\VEN_10DE&DEV_....cfg'

    Step 2: Add the following;

    [settings]
    VDDC_Generic_Detection = 1

    However I am not familiar with the older Afterburner, and unsure if it uses the same settings config.

    Also i fried my TitanX with an Over volt/overclock running F@H 24/7 ..so be cautious

    Yes this sort of behaviour is old news.  However Microsoft has become much more aggressive with it. Listening in to your microphone, collating data on local hard drive (or networked) hard drives. (files you store or search terms you use) Passing information on to authorities without being asked to/being served a warrant or request.

    As for the tin foil hat comment, Yes! now I have placed black electrical tape over my camera AND microphone

    We could discuss so much revolving around this sort of behaviour, smart phones can be particularly nasty. However that might be best left to a separate thread.

    Speaking of Authority.........

    Also, W10 is boycotted on some torrent trackers, if you are found to be using that OS< you can be banned.

    It explains how to get rid of the Windows 10 Icon in the system tray, Which is believed to occupy resources.
    And to stop Windows 10 upgrade showing in regular Windows Updates. Preventing one from accidentally installing it.

    Deltek got a reaction from iamdarkyoshi in Is this PPD Good for my rig?
    ^ in other words the average PPD is pretty messed up, as it's based on your current WU over 24 hrs.  Not all WU's are equal, Something I have especially noticed on my nVidia.

    That website gives a far better average as it's based on actual WU returns, not current # crunchiez

    Furthermore, you are able to see a way more accurate (from increased data input) average if you choose week or even month averages.  (of course this relies on you folding the same amount of time per week or month)

    An average of 3 numbers for example will never be as accurate as an average of 1000 numbers.
