EIijah got a reaction from Ben17 in Removing mail profiles/credentials on restart?
So I'm trying to make a spare laptop for work. Everyone has their own company provided laptops, and if they forget to bring it to work, drop it, pour tea on it etc, it can take us a day or two for a replacement.

I'm trying to make something that can be used a temp laptop. We don't use a domain or anything like that, so there's no server to help out here and we all use office 365 on the desktop. My boss wants the computer to wipe all the logins every time it's restarted.

Has anyone had any experience in this? I have found power-shell scripts for removing credentials, but the mail profiles seem to stick around no matter what I remove/delete.

    Any input is appreciated

If the motherboard is a B350 or X370 the BIOS is likely too old and in need of an update. Best solution is tbh to return the board in that case and just get a B450.

EIijah got a reaction from kirashi in [Car Audio] Anyone know what this port is?
Theres already another port for a cd changer so I'm going to assume that its for steering wheel control as I know these cars can have it but my model doesn't. Thanks for the replies I'm a little sad it wasn't an audio output of some sort

It is some weird problem that i can't identify. I remember it took me 3 weeks to get the piece of sh!t server working properly, and another 2 weeks to get all the plugins sorted out. There are so many variables in there.

No. I've dealt with multiple phones dropped in water. Some of them started going strange stuff or turned off altogether. One idiot even attempted to turn his phone back on untill I told him to stop trying, the phone wasn't turning on. After drying it for 48 hours the phone was fine.

Just fixed it, must have been an issue with the RAM clearing itself, I unplugged my pc and held the power button which cleared it, a restart wasn't enough  thanks though

Trust me you don't need anything special for a laptop, build a nice desktop and get a cheap laptop and put an SSD in it.

Do you have a second SLI bridge you could try using?
Also try taking out any other PCI-E things you might have and check the BIOS for a setting (Might not be called SLI, could be like multi gpu support or something)

Cool, if not there isn't a setting, or it's on, It's time to try update all the drivers, video cards and bios

At this point I'd go find the cheapest SLI bridge I could, just to see if it works.

Decent for a budget build, maybe just look at upgrading the cpu when you can next maybe to an i5 6500

Ok. Having used both, in my experiance the Shadow Rock is quieter and runs cooler than the Hyper 212evo.  120gb is kinda small. You really don't pay that much more for a 240gb.  And yep. The relief is real. Message me if you need any more help.

Better PSU - the NEX series aren't good. Although not fully modular, the CM VSM series is a much better choice.

I would personally get an Intel CPU (they're worth it), no matter what (for the most part), AMD chips are just too old
