  1. Looking for help with a brand new HP Latex 700W printing very grainy compared to our other similar printers (HP Latex 360). We've run every cleaning and optimization task that's available in the printer and tried increasing/decreasing the ink density, optimizer, and several different options in Production Manager (RIP Software) and nothing seems to be fixing the problem. Any thoughts? Here are pictures comparing our situations. I have a feeling that something in the printer is either broken or communication between our RIP and the printer is bad, like there needs to be an update to the software, but I have nothing to confirm that... again any help is appreciated
  2. Hi, My system has: Ryzen 3400G 32 GB of RAM GTX 1070 1 TB HDD 250 GM SSD Windows 10 I'm trying to render a ~6 minute long video with very minimal fanciness in regards to visuals. The entire video plays back perfectly fine in the preview window but once I try to export it, zilch. My entire system freezes. I've monitored my GPU , CPU, and RAM levels but nothing to extraordinary is happening when it freezes. I have tried numerous different presets, rendering them in both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, uninstalling, reinstalling, and updating Studio Drivers for my 1070. Nothing. I've narrowed it down to one specific clip from a Google Pixel 3(?) I believe that is causing the issue and went to redownload it from where I have it save in Google Photos, but am still running into the same problem. I honestly don't have a clue of what to do. I'm making a last minute video for my fiancée for our wedding tomorrow and am sorta on a time crunch, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!!
  3. Hmmm ok We'll try that! Hadn't thought to do that XD
  4. Our newer TV broke so we've pulled this older TV https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/product/kds-r60xbr1/manuals out of our basement for the sake of saving some money. We're trying to hook up our Roku 3 to it directly and no matter what we try, we keep getting this screen. ] To start, after each attempt we restart both devices. We've also messed with the display settings on the Roku and it won't even play 720p video with out this error pop up. We can't find anything on HDCP in the TV manual and there's nothing on it's menu screen. We've tried at least 2 different HDMI cords in the multiple HDMI connection slots. Currently, there is nothing else connected to the TV. Update: We tried running our DVD player on it and same problem. IDK if that narrows anything down but... Any help or direction is really appreciated!
  5. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-HD-4600-Desktop-125-GHz-vs-Nvidia-GT-1030/2168vsm283726 They say it'll do a quite better job. I guess i should investigate on the psu too, but yeeT Thanks!
  6. https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Optiplex-Performance-Desktop-Computer/dp/B07Q2G8BYZ/ref=psdc_13896597011_t3_B07RNMXDRF I purchased this and I realized after the fact that the onboard graphics are not enough for just Minecraft, which is mostly what this machine is going to be doing. A cheap GPU recommendation if anyone could help me would be appreciated. I don't wanna make a wrong call due to the machine being a bit older and not sure how it is compatibility wise with newer hardware Nothing more than $100-120 USD :D tankuuuuuu
  7. So this should work? https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GT-1030-2GD4-LP/dp/B07D9MQDP4/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=gt+1030&qid=1585060038&s=electronics&sr=1-4
  8. So my friend has this computer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073GVZTSQ/ref=cm_sw_r_em_taa_BVnEEb9N17PY9 and he wants to run a couple HDMI TVs off of it for more for business use than gaming. Can someone recommend a cheap graphics card to get the job done? I'm not too sure about compatibility with the motherboard and CPU so I came to where I know people know the answers. Thanks!
  9. My Dad is looking for a laptop to just do basic run of the mill stuff, but I want it to last him at least 2-3 years. I don't know if that will be possible with his $400 budget tho. I used to be in the know with tech stuff but have since fallen out so I need some help. I found this but wanted to make sure that there isn't a better option. Thanks! https://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-Notebook-Bluetooth-Accessories/dp/B07QH9TH68/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=laptop&qid=1562893652&refinements=p_72%3A2661618011%2Cp_n_feature_two_browse-bin%3A5446812011&rnid=562234011&s=electronics&sr=1-4
  10. Computer is running Windows 10. My friend has a flash drive with a whole lot of saved files from school. She plugged it in a few days ago and most of the files are coming up as unreadable. She tried using the Windows repair thing, but it's coming back saying that , "There was problem repairing this drive." From what I am reading on the internet, without paying for or using a sketchy recovery software, the drive and the files are dead, but I'm hoping not. She tried running some kind of command prompt thing, and windows cam back and said "Unrecoverable error in folder \.Trashes" It then asked if she wanted to convert folder to file. I have no clue where to go from here. Any help is appreciated.
  11. I have very little knowledge about budget type phones. I really want a headphone jack, expandable storage, and have it be relatively new. I was thinking this phone: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HLXGT2S/ref=twister_B07HLYBLRV?th=1 I don't know if there are any better options. Any help is appreciated.
  12. So to catch y'all up real quick, friend needs an office computer that will basically run quickbooks and the office suite. I was told to buy a refurbished HP/Dell computer and then just swap out the HDD for a new one as well as a SSD. Is this computer fine? Should switching out the HDD be a problem? Another selling point I thought about going the refurbished part was the warranty, but would switching out the HDD void it? https://www.amazon.com/HP-Business-Performance-Computer-Professional/dp/B01LFGTQPM/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1527808133&sr=1-9&keywords=refurbished+office+computers
  13. Ight I'll show this to him and then mention about the Dell/HP option and I will through in an optical drive too. Thanks everyone this has helped!
  14. Ok I shall get him to clarify on how much he currently uses and then gauge how much he should get. I shall keep that in mind from now on
  15. I wasn't sure how much RAM for the computer so I just went with 16 and hoped someone would clarify and the 3 TB because I think he will need a lot of storage, even though most documents don't take that much space.. still just sorta being on the safe side.
  16. So basically just we'd just be resetting the computer, like if we had virus or something like that. Wiping the slate clean basically and then that would remove all the bloatware? Knowing my friend I know he wouldn't want to get windows that way so we might have to actually go out and buy it. I'll still mention that to him and also about looking into getting an older dell model as well as an updated HDD. Ight cool
  17. Thats what he thought first but he doesn't want to have to deal with all the bloatware that comes with those Should my friend need to worry about the compatibility issue that pcpartpicker is flagging? He's not too tech savvy and I am not really either
  18. My friend needs a computer that will run basically just the Microsoft suite as well as Quickbooks. Is this parts list overkill? What would you recommend I change? It's his money so I wanna be sure I spend it wisely. Thanks!
