The actual map: http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/internet/internetcanada.htm News article about it: http://mobilesyrup.com/2016/04/06/crtcs-new-interactive-map-reveals-broadband-coverage-in-canada/?utm_content=buffer71159&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer I currently live in rural Alberta 20km from the nearest town and I have 6Mbps down 1Mbps up unlimited data wireless internet. It works well but its $100/month. Hopefully this map makes the big three upgrade their infrastructure. Maybe get the people close to fiber lines some decent DSL for a decent price. I live about 1km from a fiber line and in that 1km there is at least 100 people or so.

So I got the highest level OVH VPS and want to get an agar.io server up, but I refuse to do so without my domain(s). I have looked and searched and it seems like my control panel is missing options. The is no DNS record form or anything. I contacted support but I was hoping maybe you guys know what I could do!

Goddamn! How did I not find them before! This is exactly what I want! Thanks!

Hey guys! I'm looking for a VPS to host the occasional game server and website hosting. I would like at least: 4GB of RAM 3 CPU cores 30GB of storage 1TB of bandwidth 100Mbps connection Preferably hosted in LA as my current VPS is there and pings are fine. I'm in Canada. For around $200-250/year I'm currently with ChunkHost (4GB RAM, 2 CPU cores, 40GB storage, 8TB bandwidth, and 100Mbps connection for $216/year) but they only provide 2 CPU cores on their plans and running a modded Minecraft server on only 2 CPU cores is a terrible experience. Thanks guys! I have looked all over and it seems like ChunkHost is the best deal.

Love my Poker II, though it does lack in a few areas.

Here's a thought, would getting my A+ Cert help with anything? I've heard that its not really helpful anymore. -

Thanks! Only thing is, I live in a tiny town with only $600 to my name, so moving to get a datacenter job is off the table for a while. The local computer shop is possible, but they seem to be almost going out of business, but I will drop off a resume next week. -

I went for a trial there too, tried a few lessons.. It wasn't really for me. Especially because I have no clue where to focus my attention. -
So I have about two months to figure out what I want to do then figure out how to, then I have to find a job. I would prefer not having to go work in retail again. I would love to get into an IT job of any kind really, even a simple tech center job. Can anyone point me in a direction?

Hell yeah! Intel NUCs are awesome!

I need to plug the Dell into DVI, the VGA port on it is going.. Oh, and I have the DVI-I port on my GTX 670 taken up by DVI-I to VGA adapter for a crappy TV.

So, I am gonna change my display connections, connect my old Dell 16:10 to DVI-D instead of a DisplayPort to VGA adapter, plug my Asus VG248QE into DisplayPort instead of DVI-D. But damn! DisplayPort cables seem damn expensive, at least on Amazon Canada... http://puu.sh/dKnNi/595819f94f.png Especially when compared to DVI-D cables.. Anyone know of a better place to buy them from? Monoprice is "kinda" out of question since it takes like a month to ship here.

If I win, I'm gonna build a new gaming rig out of it, with a bit of light content creation, and then turn my current PC into a home server.

Skin* Old pic though, got rid of it, went with a dbrand skin, that got wet and peeled off so my N5 is naked now. But I got the deadmau5 skin from Decalgirl, had to use their custom skin section. Wouldn't recommend Decalgirl for skins though... Really not precise at all..
