    Hey guys, I have a windows server 2012 r2 setup as a NAS on my network. All the users have their own dedicated folder as well as a public folder all users can access. My question is, can owncloud be setup, with an existing smb share and use the Active Directory users as users for owncloud respecting the permissions? I have another pc lying around which i can install linux on if that could help.

    People should have the ability to make money on the cards they purchased. It's none of your business what miners do with their cards. It maybe, increasing gpu cost, but then nvidia and amd should increase production to accommodate for the miners and gamers. People should have the freedom if they want to mine or not, because its a means of making money and that's their decision

    Found this in a facebook group, the price is in aud. I know this doesn't include everything but you have lots of money to spare for the gpu and other accessories. You could also build the photon 2.0 by austin evans

    Yes but disk management does not see it as a basic mbr, and minipartition tool should not be displaying that, though i have encountered it doing that before. Unfortunately, it is your only option

    The partition table has been erased, though i can't explain why, it means the data is already gone. When you erase a partition table of any drive it destroys all the data on all partitions

    Unfortuneatly, due to there no longer being a partition table, this is your only option and all your data is gone

    In this state of the drive, it currently does not have a gpt nor an mbr, because its not initialized. He would have to create a new partition table gpt or mbr. but that destroys his data

    in diskmgmt.msc right click on the drive and initalize disk. Unfortunately your data is gone though linus has video here

    Sorry i seem to have forgotten to mention that he needs an optical drive (he is old school like that). Also, what about the graphics? can the integrated graphics play media sufficiently? and could they play games moderately?

    Hello LTT Forums, A member of my family is looking into upgrading his Home Theatre, he wants to upgrade his tv to a 4K tv, he currently has an outdated HTPC i can't recall the specs exactly, i think there is like a sandy bridge i3 in there, but not sure. Anyways, he asked me to help him upgrade his HTPC. Essentially, he wants to be able to view 4K content such as movies and tv shows, not much gaming is gonna be done on this, except occasionally his kids may play certain games like GTA on them, however that is not a main issue, and i know what your thinking, yes at a young age they have already ascended to the master race. So in summary, mainly he wants to just wants to view 4K content and some light gaming maybe done( although that is not really important). So does anybody have any suggestions for the hardware?

    Yeah i get that, but they are like always out of stock so it's like impossible to get one. But i'm just wondering where are they not out of stock?

    That could also be an option, infact that would work better for his needs, just did not remember that until know. However, they always seem to be out of stock, anyone know where they are actually in stock?
