  1. Title ^ must have full side panel case. Also has to be able to play games in 1080p.
  2. So basically one of my friends wants a gaming pc and wants to get this trash https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M3UKNVD/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_3giMzbZVFA7HA You see here it has an FX-6300 and a 1050Ti for freaking $700 Can someone put a better list together pls? It can't be anything above $700 without windows. The Same case too pls (NZXT Phantom 410: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/BcXfrH/nzxt-case-caph410w1 )
  3. Honestly only get the laptop if it has more exterior rgb than your current build
  4. Build new and keep the storage. You can keep the PSU and Case as well but I would recommend getting a nicer Case and a better PSU since 430w is sort of low for ryzen
  5. 32GB is a lot and not worth wasting your money on if you are not going to do tasks that require it
  6. I don't think CPUs have their own drivers but you mean Bios Updates? I would get 1600 for more cores but SCRITLY in terms of gaming, you are able to achieve an outstanding 5-6fps increase with the i5.
  7. Get the 1080ti if you can afford it and have nothing better to buy or 1080 if you want to save some money and buy other things... like premium subscription
  8. but i can see more pixels the issue with upscaling is the quality wont change
  9. Yea I have it all. I dont know how to use them but I have obtained them in 100% legal methods
  10. to be exact its 1280x800 I want it to be 1920x1080 i have i5 and 1060 is that enough tho lol
  11. I download some movies and they all happen to be some crappy 1280x490p or some weird resolution similar to that. Is there something I can use to upscale the movie into 1080p?
  12. You see storage isn't an issue here. Nor is programming or Visual Studio. Programming C++ (I'm guessing because of visual studio?) does not take much at all. You can write codes on machines with Celeron It's the fact that you stated Adobe and VM's. You might want 4 physical cores instead of hyper threaded ones for best performance. I used to run virtual machines and unless you're running windows XP on your VM allocating 1 core is pretty shitty IMO. From my experience, I would allocate at least 2 cores to a win 10 VM. Your results may vary because I don't really know anything about running VM's on hyperthreaded cores and whether or not if that is even possible since I never had an i7 or anything of that nature. Also for Adobe products (again guessing, this time to be photoshop or video editing software) you definitely want at least 4 physical cores but its 1000% possible to get by with 2 cores and 4 threads. Just expect longer render times.
  13. It has "4 Cores" and the more cores a CPU has the better it will be for your stated applications
  14. Title ^^ I need the Amp and cables and everything considered in the cost. I've looked at the SMSL SA50 Amp. I found one on Craigslist for $50 so most likely am going to get that. So I have around $150 for some good speakers. What are some good options and should I get a different amp? Also need the speakers to handle a subwoofer since I plan on adding that in after a while.
  15. Change the WD SSD to Sandisk and your good. Oh add some RGB. That is very much needed for maximum performance.
  16. Go to Home Depot or Lowes or hardware store and get a decent sized moving box since their cheap there as well as some duct tape, zip ties, and cardboard cutter. So next zip tie your motherboard onto the box and any components that stick out, reinforce with some duct tape (The GPU good idea as well as PSU). Also dont cut up all sides of the box just one side so you can fold it back to togethor.
  17. Too bad it does not come with the Wraith RGB cooler or I would go ahead and buy it
  18. You need the ones with RGB for maximum performance
